I was meeting some neighbors downtown this past weekend and decided to check out DeMos Pizzeria & Deli and was glad I did, I had just a regular slice of sausage and pepperoni which was outstanding (made fresh), the environment was very friendly and the staff was knowledgeable. Keep in mind they were busy, however the tables and bathrooms appeared to be very clean. The prices have to be the best anywhere in the downtown district. I really want to bring my friends back here so that I can try more of the menu and post updates to the review. I proudly endorse DeMos and would advise any of family, friends, or co-workers to go check it out. I welcome any feedback to my review and will post changes feedback updates. #williamburns

I will always judge a business by how they handle issues, and this place gets a major 5 stars in my book. I ordered at probably the busiest time during lunch on a Friday, so naturally the delivery time was a little long. This was not a big deal, Ive been there, it happens. But when the food wasnt as fantastic as it usually is I spoke to one of the owners Anthony & he was amazing. Very kind, handled the situation extremely professionally and honestly I have had some pretty terrible customer service situations & this was just such a breath of fresh air. I will absolutely be back & continue to order from here.

Looked like it came out of a microwave.soggy and floopy. Guess ya cant go by Google ratings all the time. And I ordered well done wish I could post a pic with this. WOW just received a call from the owners. And they explained that they had equipment malfunction and have made more than a great effort to rectify what was a maybe a more than hasty review. The pie was very good tasting and I WILL order from here again whenever Im in town. They obviously care about the product they put out. thank you guys Im more than impressed with the prompt reply. Just went here the other night. This place is great. Im originally from NJ, born and raised there, and finding pizza that tastes like authentic NJ/NY pizza is tough down here. However, this place is great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic NJ/NY pizza. The only thing is the slices I had could have used a little more sauce, but thats just my opinion and not enough to give this place any less than 5 stars. My friends had the sliders and said they were fantastic, so Ill be trying those next time. If you want NJ/NY style pizza, or just good pizza in general, go here!

We stopped by this pizza place because of the good reviews online. The service was excellent but the food was mediocre. Most of the food was packed with as much cheese and butter as possible. I couldnt taste any other ingredients because cheese overtook every other flavor. I felt like I was eating at cicis buffet pizza because I couldnt tell which crust was better. I was very unhappy for the value of pizza I received. Pepperoni pizza may be solid but dont get specialty pizzas or sandwiches.

Best Calzone Ive ever had. No exaggeration. I ended up there on accident (I was trying to get to 518 West for lunch before they closed down for good). I was too late and instead walked over to Demos. Very glad I did. The calzone tasted very fresh and they used a really unique blend of cheeses to make it really dance on the taste buds. With them being within 5miles of my job, I will definitely be checking them out for delivery.

This little pizza spot recently replaced the horrendous Bada Bing pizza. Finally! I like that they have a walk up pizza window and that they sell pizza by the slice. There needs to be more of that in Raleigh. Also - they are open until 3 AM Thur-Sat which is awesome if youre tired of all the street meat that Raleigh has to offer (aka: hot dogs). The service was quick and they had a lot of variety. Good job!

My boyfriend and I tried out this restaurant after I came across it on Facebook; I am so glad we did! We had pizza (DeMos Special) and the buffalo IPA wings... Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! The atmosphere is so chilled and their bathrooms were immaculate. I love their late night schedule, which we will be taking advantage of! This is one of our favorites, oh and their sweet tea is perfect!

Whether its dine-in Saturday night dinner with the family (my kids LOVE this place), picking up grinders for lunch, or 2:30am late night delivery on the weekends after having been out on the town, DeMos is my perfect go-to. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is always great. New York style pizza with garlic knots is always great, the Stromboli is a fave, and dont forget the garlic knots.

If you do not know this place, you need to. In addition to great pizza and deli sandwiches, they make breakfast sandwiches all day that are prime. Eggs and pastrami? Quality meats and cheeses with an egg on grilled bread? Its a beautiful late night, post bar food, or just a good lunch when your already skipped breakfast. Dedicated staff and good food.

All I can say is you have a choice of what ya shove down yer pie hole. I choose DeMos just had a steak sandwich philly style AWESOME when Im in Raleigh Durham this is where Im gonna call. And the guys who own it truly stand behind behind their product. You can call brand x that starts with a D or a P but you want good you call these guys. Sam Davis.

Pizzas great, grab it by the slice or order in advance to have your pie ready. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Almost nailed New York style. Maybe if they had New York water it would be perfect. Close enough and maybe best in Raleigh. They make delicious subs too and top quality deli. Subs grinders hoagies whatever u call it

Good spot for great pizza. I have only had their pizza which is great! Its my usual stop when Im late night uber/Lyft driving or when I venture out from Clayton for a pizza run. Its my go to spot not only because the pizza is great but more importantly the staff and the owner are super friendly and service is fantastic.

My husband and I love DeMos, the pizza is always very consistent and very good. He used to work downtown and eat here all the time for lunch so the staff knows him very well , theyre always super sweet! They do have a couple of TVs to watch as well! If you like good Pizza definitely check this place out!!

The pizza is great and they have such a great staff! I order here often (probably too often). Yesterday I had a pizza delivered to my pool and the young man was so kind to bring napkins and paper plates without even being asked. He had a great smile and positive attitude! I highly recommend them!

Great place to eat and take family during day and awesome late night staff as well. The owners are truly professional very nice down to earth people and friendly to all of the their customers. I will recommend anyone try their subs and pizzas are delicious. I love the meatball sub!!
