I had a group of four who went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was full and had a lot of takeout orders, so the service wasnt super quick. However, the food was worth the wait. My group ordered Sesame Chicken (x2), Sweet & Sour Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls. Eating at small Asian locations always scare me because the food is usually bland or too salty. However, the chicken was all lightly breaded and full of flavor. The Chicken Fried Rice was very good and the Egg Rolls were fantastic. All of the Chicken Entrees come with a side of white rice, which was also tasty. I also enjoyed how friendly the woman at the front counter was. She cares a lot about her customers. I would strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Asian cuisine.

Came here with my daughter for lunch for the first time. The eggrolls and cream cheese wontons were enjoyable. I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and when she brought me my plate the rice was overcooked and flavorless. My daughter was hungry so I didnt complain. I thought it was crazy how other customers plate looked great but mines was small portioning and dried. While my order was cooking I asked her if she could place the food in a to go box, she then said no bc its different sizes?? Then she told me it was better to eat at home. Anyways my food sucked and it was a big waste of $13.

Obviously Mr. John Smith has no idea when it comes to food taste. His other review of the pizza place has the same comments. His intentions, obviously, are to just use negativity on his comments. Mr. Smith, next time you think about putting a review online, at least put something that you like about the place not just the bad you see. Im putting a 4 stars. Because the temperature inside the restaurant wasnt comfortable. They had a fan to cool the place. Other than that, "food and service was outstanding". I travel a lot so this place is my favorite to eat.

One of our favorite places to order out from. The owners are kind & hardworking, but VERY busy so dont be surprised if the kind lady at the front desk comes across as curt! She is very sweet, but its only her and her husband running the show and even if the restaurant seems empty, be assured that they most likely are slammed with take out orders. Sure there have been times I wish the hours were different, but even God took a day off! Id rather they take a day of the week off and have later hours than retire :D

Called at 7:55 for a pick up order. They close at 830. "No more order" oh. Ok then. Been here many times love the food....but really some fried rice and chicken and 35 minutes is not enough time? Lame. Not going back. Too bad customer service stinks, the food is great. I called back...."U didnt tell me thats all u wanted...." not the point I guess.....dont argue with your customers......maybe ask that b4 you tell them "No more order"

We dined in and even though there was only one other family we waited about 30 minutes for our food. Only 2 ppl were working in the restaurant. The woman that served us was nice. We ate Eggs Rolls, Steamed Dumplings, House Fried Rice, and Shimp Curry. Everything tasted average but I personally didnt like the Dumplings. The front door is ultra heavy to push for some reason and the place is small. Maybe its better to order take out.

I cannot say how good this place is. I just moved to Shakopee and will never search for another Chinese restaurant. Far exceeded my expectations which were high due to being a former Princess Garden customer. Maria and Peter are incredible. Great personal service, fantastic veggies, crisp breading on Sesame Chicken, really great curry. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!

The classic Princess Garden from Rice street reborn in the south western metro. Some of the standbys I enjoyed for the last 30 years are not on offer anymore, but plenty of my favorites remain. I do crave my Peking duck and candied banana dessert, but I fully acknowledge their difficulty and time consumption. Love this place!!!!

My wife and I love coming here. Its the best Chinese food in the area. You should try their food if you havent yet. The food has always been fresh and the couple that owns it is very friendly. The prices are great for the quality of their food. Steer away from the chains and check out Far East you wont regret it!

Local mom and pop. Small place with great food. Yes there hours may not be perfect for everyone, but a small price to pay for great carry out. They have a small dining area so you can dine in. Gracious hosts that make you feel welcome. Go back a few times and you feel like family.

My wife and I really enjoyed their sesame chicken. The chicken was cooked well with a crunchy batter coating. The sauce it was mixed in wasnt very spicy but it had a wonderful blend of spice and sweetness. We will definitely become regulars of this restaurant.

As ever the best chinese restaurant in the twin cities!! Maria and Peter do it again. We travelled 55 miles for the fried dumplings and they are worth every mile! Cashew chicken is like no other. Tell all your friends. Its worth the drive.

We just went there and had the best hot & sour soup! We also had Moo Shu Pork, Schezwan Beef, and Lo Mein. The service was very fast and they have one of the most authentic Chinese & Hong Kong style foods in the Twin Cities. Thank you!! =]

Food is actually good and tastes fresh compared to the typical Chinese chain garbage. Service is of some of the best Ive ever experienced, very curtious and kind, five stars is not enough to rate the service. Would recommend to anyone.

For a strip mall restaurant, this place stands out. For the price, food is excellent. Friendly service. Moo shoo, orange chicken, dumplings recommended. This place is our go to for Chinese food close to home.

Great sesame chicken. My experiences are based on one 1 thing: quality of the chicken used in the sesame chicken. Here they use good, solid, white meat chicken. Very good. Liked it a lot. Definitely recommend.

Best Chinese I have had in my entire life. I grew up eating their food in Maplewood and never found anything that compared. So glad they decided to start cooking again!
