Your pizza is amazing and really deserves 5 stars. However, the guy-manager-host on Sunday February 12th who took our pizza carry-out phone order at 5:25p did not do a good job. The pizza was to be ready within 20 to 30 minutes. When we arrived at 6p, they hadnt even started it. Biggest problem was not that he forgot the order but that he didnt seem too concerned, embarrassed or apologetic. Then he left the building without making sure we had our pizza which we didnt get until 6:20p, from a different host. Please share this posting with him and ask him, "do you really like working here?" because the customer didnt think so. And, if he says, "yes, I do like working here", please give him a second chance, but train him on how to do a better job and about customer service - so that noone has this experience again.

This place is amazing. 100,000/5 stars. Their specialty pizzas are good too--but nothing beats their pepperoni pizza. Our standard order is a half cheese half pepperoni with the market salad (its the only salad I order there because its so good but a friend of mine says the same thing about their blue cheese salad.) The Sicilian is also good if you can get it before it runs out, but we still like the pepperoni better. The Sicilian is a lot of pizza, the half order can feed 3-4 people. If youre going for a date expect a bill of around $30-35 (no beers) for a pizza and salad.

Black Sheep remains the best place to get an authentic slice of pizza in the Twin Cities. You wont find the most innovative pizza toppings here (check out Pizzeria Lola), but everything Black Sheep does they do great. Coal fired ovens produce an incredibly thin and perfectly baked slice of pizza. Also check out some of their salads, great tap beer list and grilled meats. We love taking friends, families and visitors here so they can experience the Meatball Ricotta pizza that I will argue up and down is the best slice of pizza in Minneapolis.

Just ate here for the 4th time and it is still mouth-watering amazing! Brought my mom this time and she is more of the "pizza when the powers out" type so I was a little skeptical bringing her here, but the above average customer service and the way above average pizza gave way for a great dining experience, food and all! Had the number 7, added anchovies on to half, which gave it a great kick if youre into that. The Persian beef is chronic as well. Go here and Enjoi

I loved Black Sheep Pizza the instant I arrived. Everything and everyone was outstanding. My new goal in life is to try everything on the menu. I got some great advice while trying to decide what to order. Get your pizza split into two and you can get more variety. I did a 12 inch half #4 & half #5. Easy parking. Free WiFi. Super pizza. Great people.

I love this pizza - the mushroom pizza and the meatball pizzas are hands down the best. I will say that the sound during the dinner rush can be pretty intense. Some attention to sound design world be appreciated. Dont let that deter you though. The pizza more than makes up for it. You wont have time for conversation as youll be too busy eating.

Spacious and a variety of seating between high table, booths and tables. Their food came out fairly quick. We ordered #5 and felt it was more on saltier side. Other than that, the food was delicious and prices are reasonable. The staff waiting on us provided excellent service.

Food is amazing! I have only had 1 experience w/a server that was less than ideal. It was a slow evening and we had to flag down a hostess to get our bill. Otherwise, everyone has been very friendly and professional. Neat space, great food, nice people. We go here often!

Had a great time here! Food was absolutely delicious, although a little pricey, and never got a drink that was ordered, but it wasnt on the bill so I cant complain too much. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in deciding what to get.

Spacious dining room and bar. The coal fired pizza is always delicious although it fares on the fancier side. If youre a Papa Johns or Dominos fan, this might not be the place for you. Try the Meatball Ricotta. Its to die for.

Does it get any better than this for coal fired pizza? The sauce and crust alone are amazing enough. Start throwing other stuff on there and hello yumsville. The restaurant also smells like a meat shop. Its pretty amazing.

Nice interior. The crust was awesome. There was nothing at all special about the sauce. Im not sure if its typical but we had some issues with fruit flies. Our waitress served the most basic of needs and nothing more.

Been to this location now three times, service this time was terrible. I work in the industry and our server was terrible and could care less that we were even there. Food seemed just average and lacking in flavor.

Amazing pizza, cool people working the joint, clean and busy environment. With an immense amount of food variability and choices, pizza, meatballs, salads, you will enjoy your visit and leave satisfied.

Easily my favorite pizza in the Twin Cities. I love the flavor of the coal fired pizza. This Eat Street location is particularity cool. Full bar and great people watching when sitting along the windows.

This pizza is delicious. They make their own sausage. The coal fire oven creates a charry-warm atmosphere. They have a great beer and drink selection. It all, its always a very satisfying stop.

Cool environment, loved the big, open, windows. Food was done fast and tasted nice! The staff was really hip and trendy. Low key hipster, but not too hipster. Nice beards and attitudes.

So good! Have been to the one in Saint Paul many times and love it! I always get a custom pizza with goat cheese and hot salami, but there is lots to chose from! Friendly service too!

Pizza is good but not excellent. What ia good ia the choices you get here. I personally like punch pizza much better than their pizza. Atmosphere is nice for a large group

Walking in youre greeted by the smell of wood fire from the pizza oven. The pizza is very good and the proprietary cocktail list is varied and suits many different palates.

Other pizza spots in MSP get more love, but Black Sheep is up there with the best. Unique flavor combos, delicious crust and perfect cooks every time, I love this pizza.

Grateful to have a brick oven pizza option in the neighborhood and even more thankful they finally added pineapple to their selection of pizza toppings.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great people! Easy to get to but parking is tough. The food and beer were worth the time search for a parking spot.

One of the best pizzas in the Twin Cities and we nearly always love the market salad, too. The ricotta appetizer is excellent too if a bit spendy.
