It was my birthday, I learned that they DO NOT DO ANYTHING for birthdays...but I learned this in the rudest way possible. Medusa the bartender looked me up and down, leaned in, shook her head and said "NOPE, we dont do ANYTHING, NOTHING."...well okay, thanks? I got the impression that if I were wearing ripped levis and an american apparel T, I would have gotten different service. Guess my white birthday dress I saved up to buy (sorry I looked so clean cut?) wasnt cool enough there. On top of feeling like I looked like someone she hates, a guy friend was picking up the 2-4-1 deal, and intended to use that to offer me the 2nd drink- bartender told him couldnt do that. Are you serious? Whats the difference? What if I dont want two drinks? What if Im trying to be responsible and just drink one? I cant do that? Youre going to force me to purchase a 2-4-1. What if I didnt live down the street and attempted to drive home after ONE too many and you lose your bartending license as you, being the last one to serve me, would be at fault in the state of MN? Come on, seriously, regulate 2-4-1s? Was it worth being so rude to us all and ruining the last few minutes of my Birthday? My group of friends we were all purchasing beer. No one was there to abuse her deal. I guess birthdays are too mainstream.

Wish I could rate my experience with staff food drinks etc but after sitting outside for 5 to 10 minutes with approximately 4 or 5 of the server passing by we had to leave since a meal was needed and it didnt seem like it was going to happen here since nobody approached us for anything. We are normal looking business-like people just looking for a good slice of pizza. She slightly acknowledged our existence but that was it. The patio was mostly full due to nice weather but the inside was bare bones. With that service I can see why. Neighboring businesses were very busy and doing well along Lyndale so that says something right there. This would be an excellent place for Bar Rescue to film for their next season if it isnt too far gone. Lot of items out dated and neon sign 80% working. I still seek a good destination spot in Uptown. We did end up going to the reliable Old Chicago to be treated like gold and minutes later to find out the lease on the building will not be renewed with them in 2 months. This was Aug 8th a Thursday night approx. 9:00 PM

I am totally bummed. Two of us went in last Friday night for dinner. It wasnt even that busy in there. We sat down at a booth right away. There were two waitresses working and we noticed that a couple other groups came in and sat down and had received drinks. The waitresses walked by us several times and even made eye contact, but never came to the table. We waited for 15 minutes before we just left. Baffled as to why their service would be so awful, especially when it wasnt even busy. Loved this place for years but the last two experiences (bad service both times) will be the last for us.

It might be because I didnt have the pizza, but I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was terrible. The fries that came with it were totally flavorless and soggy (the sandwich was the same way). Of course, my roommate decided to tell me *after* ordering food that she has never had anything good from here, but I digress. Main point: there are awesome restaurants in Uptown - dont waste time or money here unless its midnight and you have no where else to go...

Ive never had a bad experience here, but Ive never had a really memorable or great time either. What Ive tried of the food is pretty good, and its a fair deal for the large slices of pizza. Ive been for trivia a couple of times and it was so-so...a good mix of questions but they didnt have a microphone or anything so it was just someone shouting questions in a restaurant full of people talking. Ill definitely go again but its not usually my top choice.

The pizza and appetizers are good but not spectacular so I found it overpriced for what you get. The only good thing is their 2 for 1 deal during happy hour. Also to note is they have a jukebox but you only get 2 songs for $5 (what a rip) and whats dumb is that if no one puts money in the jukebox theres nothing playing at all in the restaurant. The service was really good and it looks more hip than what I expected from looking at the outside.

An okay happy hour. Love the staff. Amongst the best cheese bread. Pizza varies to personal tastes. I like the taco pizza, but not really a fan of much else. I suppose the Southwest pizza is pretty good. Its a solid plan B when your favorite places are too busy. +1 for parking, especially in the winter. There are a lot of smokers outside, so if youre not a smoker, it might bother you.

Food is great but the service isnt the greatest.. Ordered food over the phone for pickup told me 20-25 mins but when I got there ..They informed me they didnt have my order. What got me is that they didnt apologize just said I could wait for them to make it.Not good service in my eyes .Have ordered from there many times needless to say I wont be now.1-4-16 @ 8pm

Pretty normal food, pretty normal drink prices, pretty normal insides and patios too. The bartender punched a guy in the face and tackled him out onto the patio (where I was siting) the first time I was there because the guy said something funny. The pizza is the kind that the toppings come off when you take a bite. Hilarious name - what does it mean?

The pizza was great! But the waitress was rude and wouldnt give us a refill because she said you only get one refill, but yet she filled one other person in the same table three refills! She was obviously not keeping track of who she was refilling for, but was quick to negate the other refills to the rest of the table!!

You might be the one leaning after spending a night out here! This establishment boasts delicious pizza and wings, friendly staff, board games to play, and the pièce de résistance, a patio that would put even the nicest bars to shame! Truly, its so nice you gotta go check it out. Would recommend.

most of their special pizzas include "celery" as a topping. we strayed from experiencing that topping and ordered a hawaiian pizza with an order of buffalo wings. overall good. the pizza crust was kind of generic/weak/uninteresting tho. we speculated that it could even be frozen...

There is no better pizza place in the Twin Cities. None. Not only that, its also a great bar and hangout. The staff is friendly without being obtrusive, and the food is spot on. Make the journey. You wont be sad. Minimally, get a parbaked pizza to take home. So.very.good.

This place is a nice neighborhood Hangout. They have some great pizzas, good beer selection, pastas, salads, apps. Everyone is pretty chill here. Friendly staff, games, Tuesday trivia nights are lots of fun. Good place to bring your family or hang out with friends.
