I wish I could give a few more stars, but as a new restaurant, they have a few things to work out. Theres a lot to say of The Pizza Pub, especially for an area rather slim on updated places to eat out (small town, yes, growing, yes, could use more....yes). But this place has major potential. Went with a group of 11 for my nephews 3rd birthday, and will admit for fluid service, we could have been more organized ourselves. Nonetheless, service staff needs some direction from management to make everyones experience more positive. Our server Brooke was amazing and graceful while we socialized and dined, and for the level of business that night, she handled our large group very well with a sincerely happy demeanor the entire time, I applaud her. That being said, I recommend aprons that can hold a server book at all times so the staff can WRITE DOWN ALL orders (this is Center City, youre not above writing orders down), not just when they have a pad in their hands for the main order. Several food orders were not placed, and asking for a few rounds of drinks during the meal (2 waters, a glass of ice, a Diet Coke, and a cocktail) were finally received in about 3 trips (also happened with extra sauces we asked for after food arrived). Maybe I missed it, but I also didnt see one staff member with a tray while I was there. Please get your staff some trays (if Im wrong, sorry, but in that case you need to start getting them to use them) I will also say the remodel/design/decor of the building is amazing for the environment they are trying to give (I.e. family friendly sports bar with pizzas starring the menu). Far beyond what many could imagine the Porterhouse becoming, I know I was blown away. The food was pretty awesome with a welcomed chain like menu (think apps, salads, burger/sandwiches/wraps, pizza of course, and select entrees available) but most certainly with their own personal and inventive twists of items. Definitely unique to the area. I was also VERY happy they have Gluten Free pizza, which was great in my books. Very disappointed all their tortilla options were flour (can I get some corn chip nachos please?!? Seriously, you open your menu to a lot more people...meaning YOU could make more money, and no one would care less in that scenario...most nachos are made with corn chips...cmon!). I would certainly go back and I know it takes time to work out quirks in a new restaurant. In the end, I have a lot of hope for this place.

The pizza and apps are all pretty great. Its got a nice, roomy, comfortably, clean dining area. Having said that, the service was about average (nothing special) and the wait-time wasnt great. Our server got two pretty major things wrong with our order: 1) my BF ordered a 9" pizza but got a 12", but since we noticed it, she comped us our drinks; and 2) I ordered green peppers on my pizza and got banana peppers. She did rectify this with a free pizza with the correct toppings. I dont know why Im complaining, I guess I would just have preferred they get it right the first time. I know its also a new establishment, but Its clear the manager hasnt provided the staff with proper training on basic functions--it took three staff to check us out.

Worst food establishment ever ! I showed up expecting a nice meal on a platter but all I got was a fat lady asking for drinks! I was infuriated like I do not want a drink I wand a pizza, then she said are you sure you dont want a drink and I was like no, I said no before what do i look like a broken record! No i am a human being and I am very upset. so I canceled my order and left a note on the floor for your janitor to contact me, horrible service and didnt even read my note . ps: pizza was edible ,but after all so is cardboard

Nice atmosphere. Clean. Took forever to get out food. They were med.packed. Plenty of seats open but thats fine. Pizza was to hard on the bottom to eat but otherwise decent. The Alfredo said touch of spice when it should have said we poured have a gallon of salt on it. Was so bad I couldnt eat it. I couldnt taste anything but the salt. I wouldnt recommend getting it. Unless you can stand to just eat salt from the container then you may like it.

Pizza was very good, but service was horrible. Ordered for carryout and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived after 20 minutes and stood by the cash register for 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later the pizza was finally ready. Wait staff was very oblivious to customers arriving.

Came in around 4:30pm on a Sunday evening with a group of 6 adults and a toddler. Most tables were reserved. They put us at a high top where a high chair does not reach. They sat us at a table in the back corner and we waited and waited never got us menus or drinks. We never saw a server. After about 20 minutes with absolutely no service we left.

Ordered pizzas for pick up. Got home, one was wrong. Told them we were on our way to get correct pizza. Get there and they tell us they gave our pizza to someone else!!! Had to wait an additional 20 minutes for new pizza while the others were getting cold at home. Wont go back!!!!

The interior of the restaurant was clean, and the pizza was good. The wait is frequently long for the carryout pizza though due to the nature of the restaurant and tending to bar customers before greeting new people. No complaints other than a little bit better time management!

Have eaten here twice since it opened. Love it! Great selection of beer and the Pub Special Pizza, Alfredo Pizza and Asian wings are family favorites! Hostess and wait staff were pleasant and on top of their game. We look forward to going back!

Amazing pizza! Seriously the best! Alfredo and Cheeseburger are my favorite but really, all are fanominally delicious. Jenny was our rockstar server. She made sure my glass of blue moon was never empty. Bonus that she was friendly and cute.

Pizza was fantastic. Price was pretty good. Food came out fast for a busy place. Very busy. Refills, questions, and customer service could some work but I do understand its a busy place. Overall very good place for a family dinner.

This location is the best yet. Love what they did with the building- bar is on the opposite end of the dining area, had great service and although their pizza is pretty good the burger I had was great.

Delicious food and great service. It was really busy so we had to wait a bit for our pizza. We had the house special. We also had two garden salads. They were a nice size and fresh ingredients.

Great pizza! Even the small (9 inch) had cheese and toppings all the way to the edge and great flavor. They also have awesome tap beers from Surly, Deschutes, Summit.....and they have siracha!
