We have a family golf membership in the shoreview area. I live near Prestwick and have been playing the course for over 20 years. My 13 year old daughter has been in competitive gymnastics since 1st grade and said she would like to start golfing:) I have a few friends that are members here at Pretwick and we went out for a round the first day the course opened. While enjoying the golf course i kept thinking how convenient it would be for my daughter to be able to practice and play here. 8 minutes from home.. After the round we went into the restraunt for drinks and dinner. We ordered the prime rib and a dinner salad. I dont believe in a perfect anything but this was the best prime rib i have ever had... The atmosphere was fabulous and our service was great. When i gotr home i shared ther experience with my wife and told her the overall experience oI was better than what we enjoy at our private club. In fact it was so good i contacted Tim, the head golf pro at Prestwick, and we purchased a family membership here. I have read a couple of the negative reviews and i would have to say. We have dinned here several times. They have brought in some younger waiting staff and although they may not have the experience of a seasoned waiter or waitress they are very polite, they try hard and appeaar eager tom learn. For that i give the management a thumbs up for giving them the oppurtunity, the waiting staff a thumbs up for trying hard and the chef 2 thumbs up for the wonderful meals we get to enjoy.. Everyone should check this place out!!! PS. The outdoor dining is fabulous as well!!

I would describe this meal as poor at best. Four of us wanted to try this new restaurant in Woodbury. To start with we had drinks, they were okay but certainly not the best drinks Ive ever had. We then had a Scottish egg for an appetizer which was obliviously reheated and not fresh. The sausage inside was certainly not the best sausage available and the mustard sauce only okay. For dinner, two of us had two hamburgers and both were over-cooked. The bacon was stringy and not crispy, the burger was tasteless, and the sauce (although good) was almost non-existent. We had a prime rib which was really fatty, had a string in it, and a weird spice that tasted like taco seasoning and shouldnt be on a good prime rib. We had a pepperoni pizza that instead of pizza sauce, just had canned tomato sauce on it. The pizza was not good. And to top it all off the waiter was a teenager. Im not bashing him, he did his best, but not what you would expect from a good restaurant for a $100 meal. To top it all off I spoke with a manager on my way out and gave her my humble opinion in a very nice way as we left. She listened, but it was clear that she didnt care very much. If this were my restaurant I would have at least offered free drinks if not a free meal after a complaint like this. All I got was an "Im sorry your meal wasnt very good." WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!

Food was decent and they FINALLY tailor to the golfers a little bit with the 2 for 1s and some additional TVs but the service continues to be poor!! It doesnt matter if youre in the restaurant or on the patio anymore its all around bad. How many verbal complaints at the restaurant and online reviews does it take to figure out your main problem? There are plenty of people within a 3 mile radius that want this place to be there home pub and grill but it is extremely difficult to continue to give it another chance and then leave with a bad taste in your mouth. Figure out how to provide great service or this restaurant will turn over again and start from scratch.

Came here for easter brunch, it was a horrible experience. Started with problems with the reservation and when I went to get brunch they were out of eggs benedict, bacon, french toast, sausauge, and roast beef for 20 minutes all at the same time. I ended up getting a slice of prime rib after a wait. Unfortunately it was cold. Management did take care of our bill wich i appreciated, and I hope they can work out why they struggled with the food service in the future.

3rd time is a charm. Our server tonight was great and the Pub Steak was cooked to perfection. The food has always been on point but today won is over with the stellar service. She impressed us so much I left a 40% tip.

Great ambiance, loved the pub feel and energy. Food was really good, the fish and chips are so crispy, and the shepards pie was awesome. Good beer selection and the old fashioned was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Salmon is spectacular. Lobster Mac n Cheese is yummy, claw meat and a lot of it. Pizzas are very very good out of the new pizza ovens. Nice open layout, four more TVs!! Open on Sundays. Daily supper specials!
