I enjoyed my outing tonight at Flying Saucer. 65 Beers on tap, and another 100 bottles and cans, leaving plenty of choices from around much of the beer world (although some regions curiously absent). The menu is pretty simple, primarily pub food, absent burgers. I enjoyed the "Reuben-Esque", "Pastrami, jalapeno-kraut, melted swiss cheese and thousand island dressing on toasted marble rye" with a side of hot German potato salad. It was a respectable sandwich, but nothing special. The jalapeno kraut was an interesting and delicious touch. I also tried the Caramel and Sea Salt Crepes (Goat cheese filled crepes, caramel and sea salt drizzle). Pretty good, and served with a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream and lot of nuts. I normally dont go for desert, but after a full day of travel and only a few granola bars of diet, I was feeling quite hungry. As far as beers go, Saucer was out of my first two selections, a Core Pumpkin Pie Ale, and a Leaky Roof Pumpkin Mead. I did enjoy a Diamond Bear Pale Ale (Local) and a Youngs Double Chocolate Stout. The atmosphere was Saucer was pretty cool, a relaxed pub with an authentic feel, and very busy on a Tuesday night (had a hard time getting a table). Taylor my server was attentive and helped answer some of my questions, being my first few hours in Little Rock. Thanks Taylor. Overall, a good time at Saucer. Decent food at decent price, and loads of beer.

Its a 5 star beer experience to be certain. The food is also worth keeping at 5 stars. Its not intended to be a high end dining facility so I was looking for food that showed some creativity, tasted good, and enhanced the drinking experience. It definitely does that. The highlight is the pretzel and the mustard sauce. Its a spicy mustard that clears the sinus cavities so you can get a good whiff of the IPA you are drinking with it. The beer lineup was solid with plenty to choose from. Plenty of local and regional brews on tap as well as some big names too. The service at the bar was excellent with the bartenders staying on top of what was needed and many times going above and beyond. Example? I was with another person and we were discussing a beer up on the board. The bartender walked by without seeming to notice and the next thing we knew there were two samples sitting in front of us. We ended up ordering that beer. Lets put it this way. I was in town on business and I went back the next night simply because of the great service. A great beer lineup is only great if you have someone bringing you what you want when you want it.

The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because seating is a little limited especially if you get there kind of late but other than that this is a great place to go hang out for a bit if you or your friends are coming in town and staying at a hotel nearby. Great staff and good bar food. I usually get the Reuben-Esque or the Space Cadet and theyve been good as far as sandwiches go. Just like every other Flying Saucer, they have an extensive beer menu. If youre a beer drinker you shouldnt have any trouble finding something youll like. If you arent really a beer drinker you might try things like Small Town Not Your Fathers Root Beer, hard ciders (J.K. Scrumpys Apple Cider) or one of the mixed beers. There is one that is a mixed between an oktoberfest and a hard cider that was really good (Angry Little Pumpkin maybe). My fiances favorite is the Stiegl Grapefruit Radler which is a half beer and half grapefruit soda. Its much better than it sounds.

So fun! Ive never seen so many craft beers on draft!!! Or so many saucers on the walls and ceiling for that matter! You can almost guarantee they will have whatever beer you love and I recommend always checking the Fire Sale board on the real affordable selections. Get the Mac n cheese, its the best. Oh, and the pretzels. In the summer try and a grab a seat by the window on the picnic tables by the front door... they are actually sliding glass doors and you are right on the downtown strip so people watching while drinking never got any better!

Loud, greasy, and grubby - Im not a big casual diner, so this one is not for me. Food is mediocre and bland (the usual cheap fillers), service is OK, and I cant comment of the drink selection. Atmosphere is jocular, its a good place to meet friends since it appeals to the general palate. Kudos to Flying Fish for resisting putting up television screens everywhere like their brother restaurants. This ones a "meh" for me.

if youre looking for a wide range of beers in little rock, you have to stop by here. The bartenders are very helpful and always looking out of you. the only downside - stopped by on a saturday night and they had two guys on acoustic guitars covering songs from boyz 2 men and en vogue. really, at a bar?! honestly, the saucer could have done better, like leaving the olympics on to watch.

Perfect! I was here after the Little Rock Half Marathon and I was hungry. The place was full, so I took a seat at the bar. The service at the bar was fast. Bartender helped me pick the perfect pear cider--totally refreshing after a long run. The Nacho Libre appetizer was excellent and filling--almost too much for one person. Really great service and a fun atmosphere.

Excellent beer selection. The beer menu needs some reorganization. Beers are scattered everywhere and dont make much sense. For example youll find IPAs in 3 different locations on the menu. Our waitress was unfriendly and didnt offer any recommendations when they were out of a beer I asked for. But hey they got a lot of beer.

This place was horrible! We had to ask for silverware, napkins, and menus. The queso dip was as thin as water! The beer was warm, there where nats flying around one even landed in the beer. The food was bland and had no flavor. Not to mention the portion size was for a 10 year old. I suggest you dont waste your time.

Dont listen to Pauly. If anything Im annoyed that they DONT let people smoke anymore!!! Myself and another patron were griping about it all night last night! It has ALWAYS been 21+ as long as Ive known them. Great selection and friendly service, sit at the bar for faster service. Go on Monday for $3 pints!!!

One of the BEST spots to go to (in Little Rock) for beers from all over the world in one place. The look of the place is totally original (bring a camera) **and make sure to visit their "Secret Basement" where you and friends can truly chill with a more one-2-one environment or play a little pool or darts.

The Flying Saucer is a great place to have an array of beers. There is plenty of thing to do down stairs while enjoying time with your friends. However, the establishment need to be updated. It feels old, used, and the 3 years Ive been going there, it hasnt changed a bit. The Saucer needs a face lift.

Great beer selection; some bartenders more knowledgeable than others. Food is consistently good if not great. No one was smoking on my most recent visit, but I hate having to walk through the smoking room to get into the main bar area. And the smoking area has great natural light - waste of good space
