If youre looking for a good time avoid this restaurant. Quick Bullet points before I get into the review -Portions sizes are atrocious for the price (Ordered the Grilled Combo: 3 tiny shrimp, a filet that looks more like a sushi serving than a filet of salmon, and 3 oysters that tasted like they have been sitting in a steamer for hours.) -Quality of food is very poor (For $23+ per head if you are ordering seafood, I would expect a higher quality product.) -Presentation is terrible (The food looked as thought it was literally thrown on a massive plate with little regard to the Aesthetics.) -Seating is crowded and claustrophobic inducing. So I took my Girlfriend to this place since we always saw a crowd lined up out the door for it. I wanted to know what all the hype was about. Being originally from CA I am pretty big into the surf and turf style of meal. What I wasnt expecting was an overcrowded barn of people moshed so closely you didnt have room to breathe. We mulled over the menu briefly and figured we generally prefer avoiding anything fried; so we ordered the grilled combo platter. Now this place was already pretty expensive based on the price tag and we generally prefer to share meals between one another. This is usually because most places serve over the top portion sizes for the price tag. (Assume around $15-$20 range for measure) When our meal arrived we ordered the two sides as salads which tasted like they were drowned with the entire bottle of dressing. (If I was going to go back, Id be sure to ask for it on the side.) The rest of the meal however was quite the site to behold. The shrimp were nothing more than cocktail sized shrimp that looked like they were taken from a Sams Club Freezer bag and had some old bay seasoning slapped on them. On top of that, there was literally only three of them. Now I understand this is a sampler platter, but this is seriously cutting corners even for a landlocked state. The Salmon was over-seasoned beyond recognition to the point you couldnt even taste the fish. If I had to wager a guess, Id probably figure it was because the fish was kept in a freezer for an extended period of time than most restaurants do. (Seriously, if Umamis down near Oak Street can deliver quality seafood products for less than this, there is no excuse. Then the dread oysters came to the table and there was many regrets to be had. On top of the fact these oysters tasted like they were overcooked, they were also cold by the time they arrived to our table. I specifically ordered the mozzarella and bacon bits variant as a precaution. (It still wasnt enough.) The TLDR of this review? Avoid this place, there are far better locations in Conway to get Seafood. If they deliver a better product then I might consider adjusting my review. I will not be returning and everyone in my personal network will be getting the same message.

Air condition is insufficient. Sure we are not on the coast but I thought the fish/crab might taste ok..I mean you wouldnt serve something that is inedible right? Wrong apparently. Stay away from the crab stuffed flounder. The grouper was ordered blackened and was barely grilled with little seasoning. If you order a baked potato, order the toppings on the side. Mine needed a life jacket to survive what I can only assume to be a plate full of melted butter. The shuck salad was good, the only thing I did enjoy. Fresh mixed greens. His coleslaw was pretty good. The onion rings to me tasted ok, to him, he said they tasted like they were cooked in old grease. I think it was just the flavor of the onion rings. The brand of root beer was undrinkable. I love root beer but this bottle had us looking for an expiration date. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. The trivia and music was loud and obnoxious. At one point the song chandelier came on and apparently someone loves this song as it was turned up so loud we could no longer hold a conversation. We will not return.

Cant say enough good things about this place!! The atmosphere is casual and fun, the service is amazing, and the food is out of this world!! My husband is somewhat of a "steak snob". Everywhere we go he orders steak, and everywhere we go they disappoint. Not Shucked!! Their steaks are consistently awesome!! In fact, we just got back from a weekend getaway, and we stopped in for supper because my hubby said he wanted to at least eat one good steak before we made it home. As for me, Im not as bad as my husband, but I will say I tend to be a little bit picky about my mac & cheese. Shucked delivered on that too (and the salmon was also delicious, lol) Now, for the staff......they rock!!!!!! Our waitress tonight was Tori. She was attentive, friendly, and a lot of fun. And she wasnt fake about it, but just a warm genuine person!! This is definitely a place that will be a regular stop for us while in Conway! Great job Shucked!!!!!

Sorry guys. Funny how many of these reviews are saying the same exact things. Hate to give a bad review, but $50 for two people should be a fantastic meal! It wasnt. Queso was good, salsa was too watery. Wife had the crab stuffed flounder. It was a tiny, tiny scoop of crab mixture with the daintiess looking flounder that sat on top and was undercooked. Wife was not pleased. I had the fried combo. Catfish was undercooked to me. Breading was barely hanging on. I picked a filet up and it sagged over my fingers and bent in two. Fried oysters had the same breading problem and werent cooked long enough to me. Service was good and place looked good. I enjoyed that. But prices and food are a fail. Customers pay close attention to detail. Restaurants should treat every plate that leaves the kitchen with the same detail or expect customers not to return. Ive left a review because I hope it helps! Thanks

We were excited to try this new restaurant. We where pretty disappointed. Most of the food was either under or over seasoned. We started with the queso and chips. The cheese dip looked as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour and the salsa was more like tomato water. Wife ordered Ribeye with baked potato, and coleslaw. Steak was cooked properly and not terrible, baked potato was lacking "loaded" didnt get coleslaw as ordered. I had the combo basket with oysters, shrimp, crab cake, fries, catfish, slaw, and hush puppies. Puny portions, poorly prepared food, crab cake was disgusting with some kind of offensively bad sauce. Fries and hush puppies where the best part. Daughter had a kids burger which was under seasoned and not very good. Shame.

Cant tell you how excited I was to have a seafood restaurant come to town. Cant tell you how disappointed I was to eat here. I know the place is called shucked, but was really hoping for better shrimp or crab options. This place might be spot on if you are looking for oysters, but otherwise its a huge miss. The crab is pretty sad. Given how well crab freezes, there really is no excuse for shoddy crab from a nice restaurant. What was served looked like the forgotten remnants of a beaten and battered crab from the back of discount grocery stores freezer section. The whole experience was disappointing. How easy would it be to add a shrimp boil to the menu. Cheaper than crab...and easier to do right.
