This place was amazing yes it has a small bar area but still plenty of seating the locals are very friendly and owners on site talking to crowd and are very concerned about your experience menu a little on high side totally worth it i had petite prime rib only 9.95 more than enough to eat it was 5 star quality if you are within 30 minutes and from out of town I highly recommend you stop by. In the summer they have deck that over looks the lake Thursday karaoke. In my pictures are my food and owners stop by and say hello. Do not forget to check out the history of Whitmore Lake all over the walls awesome detailed photos and history everywhere and Elvis is still alive. I had the chance to stop back exactly one week later another great time had the pizza this time fantastic check it out

This place should be on Kitchen Nightmares! Went there recently hoping things had improved over the last time I was there but what a disappointment. This place is dirty inside and out, gross bathrooms, stained carpets, even the menus are dirty. I could forgive some of this if the food was great but it is not. The fish was frozen and stale and completely disgusting and the salad was a few pieces of iceburg lettice and a slice of tomato, nothing else. I ordered a beer with my meal which did not show up after 20 minutes of waiting. Our waitress was nowhere in sight. I finally got my beer and when I mentioned it to the manager he said it was because the waitress was new. But really, how hard can it be to get a beer?

Great setting on the deck overlooking the water. Service was slow; need more waitresses. Had high hopes for new portobello burger. It was supposed to be served on pumpernickel bread, but got it on regular bun and sauce was too powerful. Told waitress. She said, "Oh, yeah...I didn"t even notice...Im sorry." Nothing was done or adjusted on bill. Waitress also didnt ask my husband how hed like his burger cooked, and it was way too undercooked. Service too slow for getting our orders fixed. Oh, well...maybe next time will be better if in the area again.

My favorite restaurant! The patio overlooking the lake is awesome. The pizza, burgers, pulled pork sandwich, basically everything is delicious! I have tried a bunch of different items and Ive never been disappointed! And their Bloody Marys are pretty great, too! Best date night for my husband and I! And the service is always great, even when theyre busy. We drive 40 mins each way to come here. And we come 3 times or more a month.

Horrible. Onwer was very unpleasant my food was wrong. Waited ten min before a waitress came two our table then she never came back to our table everyone in my family got there food and mine never came then we found out they didnt even make it yet and when it came out it was wrong. My wife and her family have been going there for about 50 years and the new owner sucks.

Are waitress must have quit work at 2:30 because I seen her walk out with her purse in her hand and no one helped us for 15 minutes she could at least said that someone else would be helping us or someone else will be helping us. Other than that they have great food. Nice place to eat.

Its the little details that make Whitmore Lake Tavern great. Homemade jams and jellies are tasty. The eggs benedict with made to order hollandaise sauce (the real stuff, not from a mix) is out of this world good. The pizza is by far the best in Whitmore Lake. We love this place!

Weve been here a handful of times. Some visits the food is wonderful, other times I could do without. However their burgers are consistently good. Service is always quick and friendly. Ive never been there for nightlife, so I cant speak on that, maybe one of these evenings...

Our family meets for breakfast here and have all found our various preferred dishes. They accommodate our outspoken and sometimes inappropriate crew very well! :-) Just dont give us anymore green coffee cups (state) and Ill bump up the rating! :-P *to a new year*

We used to go there all the time but last 3 times we were there our order was messed up and when they finally got it right they were not even sorry about it. Poor severice!! Not to metion the beer prices are way too high! Try cutting your draft prices in half.

We have always had great service and great tasting food from Whitmore Lake tavern. They have some of the best ribs around. Love to eat the ribs there. Their waitresses are always on top of their customers to see if they need anything or their drinks refilled.

This restaurant in awesome! The management are always there to listen to, and are open to comments and suggestions. The meals are fantastic, and you never leave hungry. I think you get quality and quantity, and feel you get a bang for your buck!

GREAT fish tacos! I ordered while on the lake and by the time I got my boat on the trailer and to the tavern I had hot fish tacos and a wet burrito waiting for me. It was exactly what I expected I was in and out and the food was hot and tasty!

We love this place and go here often. Tom and John the owners are always coming up with something new for specials and the food is consistently great. The service is friendly and fast. The Tavern has quickly become one of our main stays. Yum!

Went there with a friend. Was impressed by the specials and the value. Ended up in a protracted and enjoyable conversation at the bar after dinner. Nice atmosphere. Quite layed back and friendly, especially if you have the right humor.

Great lakeside bar! Bring the boat over, or ride in for the patio. Very extensive menu with a friendly staff. Breakfast on the patio is a great way to start a summer weekend morning and the pizza is delish!

Stopped in with a group of 12 for a few drinks. The cocktails were decent but the draft beer was flat as can be. The few who ordered drafts switched to bottles. Service was ok but nothing stellar.

The New York strip was to die for and the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp was amazing! Service was good, prices are average and the view of the lake is an especially nice bonus.

Terrible food, horrible water i ordered a salad that was wilted so i asked for a new one and they told me all of the salad looks like that but still charged me for it!

It was awful. $5 for a hamburger (small) and potato chips. The meat was disgusting. The chicken tenders were burnt. Finally traded for pasta which was "ok". Yuck!
