My wife and I visited on the recommendation of other Google reviews. We were not disappointed!!! We ended up getting lunch, I had the hot roast beef sandwich and my wife ordered the chicken strip dinner. Both entrees came with a soup so we ordered the chicken noodle soup. Honestly, the BEST chicken noodle soup Ive ever had...spiral egg noodles with quality chicken, perfectly seasoned! The hot roast beef was quite delicious, thickly stacked, lean beef with rich gravy on top. The potatoes were thick and rich, also dressed with the same gravy. I couldnt finish the whole plate because I was so full, being the portions are so generous. My sole "complaint" would be the parking, parking is a premium directly on the property. However, going early on a Sunday affords more parking for patrons to park on adjacent business parking lots since those businesses are closed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

the food was great i only wish they had more of sides beside potatoes to choose i had to have a bowl of corn which is not that great for a side maybe add grilled zucchini or asparagus.. the only down side was my waiter i asked for a box cuz i needed to get back to work and it took her ten mins as i watched her walk around push in chairs and pick up menus and talk to other waiters. I believe another waiter told her i was watching her and thats when she went and got my bill and box. but i would recommended this place and going back next week.

Found this place from Google maps, decided to stop on our way back to Grand Rapids. Worst decision weve made! The cheese sticks were mushy, didnt get the food we ordered and i would of rather ate at a McDonalds and I havent eaten there in years! The waitress at first seemed real standoffish then started talking and wouldnt go away. The only nice thing about it was my husband said the mens bathroom was cleaner then the restaurant and thats a good thing because the womans was disgusting....

I live in Detroit, and was across the street shopping for a new car. The staff is very friendly and on top of everything. Angelique was our server and she ROCkS! The building has a relaxed atmosphere. The food. OMG THE FOOD. AWESOME! BIG portions. Good flavor. Petes ham-buger is a must have. I Could not finish the meal. My girl had the chicken Philly. Biggest sandwich ever. If Im ever in Brighton again this spot will definitely be on my radar! This place is JBOSS approved

Saturday afternoon - traffic was slow and the place was mostly 55+ or diabetics. The food was ok, nothing crazy or to rave about. The portion size is very good value, I got the chicken tender dinner (5 strips, decent size) two big scoops of mashed potatoes with gravy, side of corn, two fresh rolls and a salad for $9.99! The French Fries and Ranch are bomb! Very good! If you dont mind the "Old County Buffet crowd" its not bad. Service was also fast and accurate.

The restaurant here in Brighton has a great atmosphere. It is a elegant, but casual restaurant. They provide great service and the menu is very complete. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. My only suggestion (my personal opinion) would be to have healthy alternatives (i.e turkey bacon/sausage, whole wheat items, etc). Overall, its a great place to have a meal in a nice atmosphere.

So sad about this review. There food is actually really good and their prices are super reasonable but they struggle so much with order accuracy! My husband doesnt like tomatoes and they come on his food about 70%of the time. It has become almost funny (but not because everyone else is eating and hes sitting there waiting for them to remake his food). We had to stop coming all together.

We are very happy with Americus Grill in Brighton and Milford. We are frequent customers at both locations. The owners and staff are very friendly and the food is always good. The Brighton location was remodeled before it was opened providing a very comfortable and appealing ambience.

Food was good, big menu lots of options. For being slow though our waitress, could of been a little more .....ah good. And please dont drop the check with the food. Cause if you want a tip your job isnt done, yet. Try filling are drinks and checking back. But food was still good!!

A diner with that feel and look. Great fresh salad but the main entrées were old style grease dinners with big portions. If youre looking to feel full this is the place to go but dont expect a lot that doesnt come from a can.
