Went there twice in one week. The food is good, especially for the price. But the servers all seemed very confused or scatter-brained. The first visit, we were the ONLY customers. People were leaving as we came in. But we still did a lot of waiting. Our waiter, I dont know if he was new or what, but I was embarrassed for him. He was sweet but terrible at his job. Each person that ordered seemed to confuse him. When we finally got the orders down (I thought), he left and came back 5 minutes later asking us about our orders. "Did you want chicken or a burger?" Leaves, comes back. "Which side did you want?" Leaves, comes back. He did this at least 2 times to EVERY person at our table. (And that means all this waiting, and our orders still hadnt gone to the kitchen yet.) At one point he asked a question, walked the 20 feet away, came back and asked the SAME question because hed already forgotten the answer in that span. Thats when I finally snapped at him, loudly repeating the answer, and he didnt ask any more after that. I dont know if he was just screwing with us or what, but wow. The food wasnt brought out at the same time, so 3 of us were done eating by the time the last 1 got their food. Our server clocked out in the middle of our meal, but it seems no one was assigned to replace him, so after waiting like 10 min, eventually I just went back to the counter and asked for what I needed. Ot was a very frustrating experience. Not the worst ever but dont go if you are in a hurry. The second visit, again only a handful of customers, but it still took a long time to get seated. All of the servers were off the floor in back, I heard the supervisor say "where is everyone?" and no one seemed to know who should be helping us. Once we were seated, it was fine. But that was still kind of strange. Overall, it wasnt a terrible visit. Everyone was nice and friendly. It was just a confusing time and a little frustrating.

Awful. Seated at 11:15 and my wife went to the restroom. at 11:18 Andrew arrived and said "do you know what you want?" And I asked him for a pepsi and a water for my wife and me. At 11:30 he came back with the drinks. Asked for silverware, menu since we didnt have anything. I just got the breakfast buffet but my wife ordered lunch off the menu. Aside from our inattentive server, the buffet was bad. The bins were never stocked and the restaurant wasnt busy. They had yogurt and cereal as options but no milk or spoons! The whole time we were there! I was really hoping for watermelon because there was a bin with a little watermelon meat in it but it was never refilled. The person restocking the food bins was not wearing gloves and there was another person cleaning the buffet by removing loose pieces of food but also without gloves. He just kept sticking his hands all over the buffet. Our plates were never cleared from the table and neither were the plates or food at the table across from us for the entirety of our stay. We have a 2 month old and we tried to get in and out so we could be home to feed him and keep him on his schedule but because it took so long for our server to arrive and then coke back several times we ended up feeding our son at the table. This kept us at big boy from 11:15 a to just about 1p. The mens room floor was sticky throughout and the room smelled like urine. No employee ever entered to clean it like it ought to be hourly. The womens room smelled like feces and there was a backed up toilet with a diaper and paper towel in it. Dont come here. Go to a different big boy.

Walked in waited 5 min for someone to even acknowledge us standing there before being seated. One hour before close, sat down got ready to order and i see them shutting down the lights on the salad bar which was the main thing i had been waiting for all day. I asked and they said they were closing it. Knowing i wanted the salad bar they could have at least given me the chance to still get the salad bar and make one trip up to get all that i wanted but nope and then i sit here for 30 minutes watching them do nothing to close the salad bar down. You could have made more money on me by letting me get the salad bar and making a trip up there. Ordered a slim jim with no tomato and tartar on the side mine comes with tomato and tartar on the sandwich and a side cup of extra sauce. I didnt ask for extra i asked for it on the side. Waitress dumped off our food and never returned to the table to see if we needed coffee refills or desert or to simply ask if our food was ok because i would have surely made her take it back and have it made the way i asked for it. Nice redesign on the place but should have gotten friendlier wait staff to go with the new look. Julua B needs to take a refresher course on how to smile and check up on her customers instead of sitting rhere counting her tip money. Wont be returning anytime soon.

Terrible experience. I walked in and sat down on a seat that collapsed under me like it hasnt been stuffed since the restaurant opened. The bathrooms were nasty with mold in the sink. I figured the food might be worth it, so we gave it a shot and started with some mozzarella cheese sticks. They were barely lukewarm, and the cheese was not even close to being melted. I informed the manager and he quickly got me new ones that were much better. (The only reason this place deserves a single star). As for our entrees, we ordered both chicken tortilla soup and a shrimp platter of some sort with fries. The fries were clearly old, but passable. The shrimp was warm and I didnt have anything to complain about with it. My soup, however, was a different story. The waitress never brought it out to us, and she actually ended up leaving midway through our dinner, so I guess it was the end of her shift. We never got my soup, but it was on the bill. I informed the new waitress of it and she took it off, but I find it ridiculous it was even on there in the first place. This restaurant is a prime example of why Big Boy is going away, and I will not be saddened at all when it does.

If i could give them zero I would! Over a dozen employees maybe 5 tables occupied... 40 minutes for drinks, another thirty for order to be taken, an hour later we get 1/2 our ordered food its all cold. They got rude we dared to want the rest of our food... Another half hour passes... They return my dinner microwaved to rubber, think its funny they did it. Manager was not sorry, was not happy I wouldnt pay for my funny food seemed to think it was hilarious we were upset with exhausted upset kids. Maybe once a year my bff and I get to eat out with our kids together. Thanks for ruining it big boy! Will never ever go back and will tell everyone who ever attends our yearly convention out there not to go!
