The person who answered the phone could have been a bit more patient, helpful, and friendly while we placed our order. It should have been obvious this was our first time ever ordering from this place. Nothing beats a juicy hot burger! Our burgers had good flavor but the meat was dry! The fries were cold and soggy and should have been hot and crispy. However, the onion rings were on point! Pretty disappointing for a first time experience. Based on reviews read here looks like the food quality and customer service are inconsistent.

Overpriced, and really sad burgers. Went in just after dinner rush, ordered just a regular burger, 9.50 for a burger, but was with friends so put up with it. Took a very long time for the meals to come and when I picked mine up the bottom bun was soaked and fell apart. Flipped it over and took a bite, it was cold. While the manager comped it, he wasnt happy. Place just isnt worth the cost when you can get a better burger for a third of the cost at joints all over town.

That was the first time I had ever been there - and the entire staff is very friendly knowledgeable and courteous - they have exceptional food with reasonable prices and also the drink prices are very reasonable also - you get a lot for your money - I would recommend this to anyone that would like to go to a really nice restaurant..... meaning its not fancy but the atmosphere is nice --they also have a porch outside if youd rather eat outside ☆I give this place five stars☆

The burgers were pretty good but the best part was half off Tuesdays! Although I really didnt like their fries, they tasted too oily. Waitress always good but the tone in her voice sounded like she didnt want to be there but she may have been just having a bad day. Her service was still good. Id definitely come back l, especially on Tuesdays.

Dont push out customers. Not a good way to get repeat business when your servers dropping the bill and pushing people out without asking if they wanted anything else.. Saying "I thought you were done, we are reseating your table" not good to not feel welcomed by greedy servers... Not like there were people waiting for tables either!

The burgers are great! Lunch specials every weekday with purchave of a drink. Great service too. The chicken sandwich is awesome but I rarely move away from the burgers because they are so good. Also a choice of waffle fries, tots, or regulate fries. My favorite is the waffle fries.

Absolutely fabulous burgers and very extensive menu. Service was good, server-Bree, was friendly, helpful and dedicated to her job. Food came to table hot and delicious. Refills on beverages was prompt. We will be back!!

This was my first time visiting Old Detroit Burger Bar but it definitely wont be my last. The food was phenomenal and the staff was excellent. My two friends and I had an awesome time. We are already planning to go back!

My burger was excellent! For $11 it had bacon, cheese and more toppings, the Patty was hot, juicy and cooked medium rare, and the waffle fries were hot and crispy (and a good size portion too). Definitely worth a trip!

Tuesday is half off day as long as you get a drink. Got the corned beef burger and tots. The meal was good, but not the best burger I have ever had. Cheap place for lunch on Tuesdays though.
