Tonight I was browsing Yelp for something delicious to eat and I stumbled upon this gem. Hit up my buddy and headed over right before closing. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was still fresh 15 minutes before closing the doors. The portions are generous, great flavor, quality and not too salty. Ive been to way too many middle eastern places that tend to over season and salt. Didnt need a gallon of water along with it. I had the healthy bowl with lamb, rice, cracked wheat, tibuleh, pickled veggies, and pickled green tomatoes. I cant remember the name of the sauces but I had the orange one and the red pepper one. Also it came with hot fresh pita. They also had four different olive oils which I dipped the bread with. My friend had the falafel and that was quite delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was a little high but the quality, portion and flavor were on point. Ill be back.

My coworkers wanted to try something new but healthy and I went anyway not thinking I would like it but I really did! I like that they tell you what sauces are suggested because honestly I had no idea but it all turned out good. I got the big bowl with chicken and peppers and all kinds of stuff. The bread is delicious! But make sure you get it before you leave, the cashier forgot one of the breads.. which is understandable because theyre fresh and they have to go and get them, theyre not just sitting out. Luckily the bread was HUGE and there was more than enough to go around.

Have been here 3 times now. Have not been disappointed yet. Menu is constructed such that you pick a selection from different categories (choices of rice or wheat, protein, sauce, pickled vegetable, and salad) to make your bowl or wrap to your liking. A different take from the norm on Middle Eastern cuisine. Unless youre really hungry or a big eater, dont plan on consuming the "Honest Bowl" in one sitting. Its quite large and comes with a small to medium "loaf" size of hot Samoon (a pita like ancient Iraqi bread). Try it! You will like.

Wanted to try something different and this was it. Tons of choices, very fresh food, and helpful staff. Also had a helpful customer tell us what we might want to eat. I enjoyed the Turkish salad in my bowl with chicken and pickled green tomatoes, plus some curry seasonings. Hard to believe I can remember 4 out of 5 items a week later, as thats not my strength. Likely to go out of my way to go again.

This is the best restaurant in Midtown! I have NEVER had food so delicious that was also healthy. The process for ordering is very efficient and makes even a first-time customer feel comfortable. To top it all off, the prices are extremely affordable and you definitely get a bang for your buck! Excellent establishment with friendly staff and I highly recommend anyone who hasnt been to try it out!

By far one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Detroit. This is a new location too. Staff is always helpful and attentive. The portions are generous, and Ive tried their chicken, lamb and falafel. Cant go wrong with any of the 3!

This place is really tasty, but my friends and I have a terrible time remembering the name! We usually just call it "the numbers place." It doesnt help that the front door/ logo says 29 41 east west, not 2941 street food.

Food isnt that expensive for the amount of food you get. Its very good and the management took their time to come ask how everything is doing. Employees are friendly and the food is great. Will definitely come here again.

Mediterranean food, done like Chipolte. They give you a chance to taste stuff before they add it to your dish. Prices include tax, a little bit expensive, but the food is worth it.
