The prices were kinda insane for a diner and the waitress was rude. Funny thing is the first waitress was rude then half way through the meal they had a shift change, or something, and the second waitress was rude too. Then, to boot, they charged me for extra meat because they added my bacon to my omelet when I had asked for a side and when I pointed it out to the waitress she brought me a side of bacon and charged me twice. Im not saying it was a bad experience but be aware youre clearly not dealing with the most professional bunch. If my next experience is any better Ill update my rating.

This diner has the best eggs benedict. Instead of a dry round of canadian "bacon", they use a thick juicy slice of their homemade ham. Topped with a perfectly poached egg and a good hollandaise, its a great way to start the day. Everything else Ive tried here has been great as well. The main part of the diner, including the kitchen, counter, and a few 2-person tables, are located in an old railroad-car diner. There is additional seating located in the attached expansion that was built more recently. Like most of these diners there can be a long wait on weekends, but its worth it.

Moderate prices, good omelets of all sorts, and a style of its own. This isnt a cleaned-up corporate type of diner--this is a genuine throwback--or rather, survivor from friendlier times: the 50s, 60s and 70s. The owner Tom is always there; everyone knows everyone, either by name or face. Theres no grubbing for money--this place is heartfelt! What better praise can one give? I go two or three times a week. The waitresses are either young and pretty or middle-aged and a little bit worn--but they are totally real women. This diner is the beating heart of Lowell.

I received onions that were not cooked. I received ham that looked like dog meat, and i can not recall what else is in i a western omelet but i believe cheese and it still tasted horrible. I would have sent it back but i do not enjoy spit in my food. enjoyed a more appetizing Butterfinger at home. do not even bother at 2 A.M,

Great "Greasy Spoon" Diner!! They recently started accepting cards, instead of just cash, which has made it a much more frequent stop on the weekend restaurant tour. Get here early on Sundays or late on Saturdays. Secret Menu Item: Home Fries with cheese and #bacon

Great service! The food was just okay, even though the portion sizes were large. Im from NC, and I am accustomed to my food being prepared a little differently. It wasnt quite what I was expecting, but thats no ones fault. Just a difference in culture, I suppose.

Owl Diner is the best breakfast place in Lowell! It has an excellent menu and the food is great. I was there yesterday, March 5th, so yes it is OPEN. If you have lived in Lowell your whole life, you are bound to run into someone you know! Thanks

Ive been here before in the past but after a few years of not going I decided to go and it was an amazing experience. The waitress was very nice and comforting to be around. I was proud to be served by her. The food was also great and very filling

Delicious food and spot on service. One of the waitresses have been working there for 38~ years and told us a bit of back story through her view. They have their own parking lot in the plot next to them. Best Omelet and potatoes I ever had.

Food was average; service was rushed - which is perfect if youre in a hurry like their normal clientele. But not perfect for a relaxing brunch if youre trying it for the first time. Approximately no vegan meal options.

Quick, friendly service. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. My only issue was that they only accept cash tips, so I had to run to the ATM nearby to make sure my waitress got a tip. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Atmosphere is fantastic, the food is really good and can also not be good depending on your personal standards of food, or depending on what you choose, but dont let that turn you off, try it for yourself

They are so nice and friendly. The food pretty good, greasy diner food but they have weight friendly options like egg beaters and fat free cheese... But splurge instead and get the eggs Benedict!

Very good diner food. Fast Service. More seating than a typical diner. Parking can be a bit tough on the street, but there is a parking lot a few doors down. Servers are very helpful.

The Owl Diner has been, for a long time, one of the best breakfast diners in the area. Regardless of how you like your eggs, be sure to at least try it with slice of their Ham. Premo!

Ive always enjoyed this place for breakfast. Parking can sometimes leave much to be desired. Food is properly cooked. Omelettes are well made, and can be customized.

Staff is always rude. Food is mediocre. Only reason I went was it is conveniently located. Besides that will not spend another penny there
