We planned our stop at the Diner heading home from vacation. Got there about a half hour before closing time, it looked open but the stairs were blocked off. I was confused and said to my husband "do you think theyre closed??" Suddenly an obnoxious young lady yells over the counter, "ya, were closed, but you can go over there" pointing to the cafe across the way. She said to a woman at the counter, "youre ok, though". It was uncomfortable. There were several young people there, and I have the feeling that they had someplace to be and they were in a hurry to close. It would have gone a long way if she said "yes, were closing , sorry", but instead she might as well have said "it sucks to be you"! Too bad. We wont go there again.

If you want boiling coffee that is still hot enough to give you 3rd degree burns 20 minutes after pouring, by all means try at your own risk. The Reuben sandwich was mostly gristle, and the veggie burrito entirely unseasoned. I suggest you buy your meal elsewhere.

I am sitting in horror as I watch an open container of approximately 3 lbs of roast beef sit unrefrigerated and unattended on a back prep counter. Seems like whoever was weighing portions left this unattended. We were here for about 30-45 minutes. Not again.

Food is Ok. There sign says Real Food, Real fast. Its a lie. I ordered a pulled pork burrito to go. Waited 20 minutes to get it. Dont bother going here unless you wanna stand around waiting for food.

Excellent food. Had a great lunch with my Daughter. Onion rings were great and the Roadside rueben was fantastic. Very clean place as well. Staff was friendly
