Nice people, but really inconsistent food. Out of 6 visits 2 were horrible and the last was bad after a very long wait. Wanted to give it a real chance because its very close to us, but compared to Johnny Jacks and Depot Street diner, both close by in Milford, it is really lacking. E.g one visit they forgot my sons breakfast, wed all finished by this time his came. I once got biscuits a sausage gravy. They skipped the biscuits, used English muffins. Didnt say anything, then when I asked why, I was told the cook ran out of biscuits. No sorry, or do you want something else. Soggy English muffins are not a good breakfast. So were done. Will stick to the good places close by.

I just finished working at The Spoon for a year since it opened. It will remain one of my favorites places, as I was a regular in addition to working as a host on the weekends. Every member of the staff is truly delightful and we all try our best, especially when theres a 45-minute line out the door in the heat of a Sunday morning. Everyone fires at all cylinders on busy days, and I truly hope you come and stop by and have some grilled cornbread and an eggs Benedict.

Still sitting at the table and couldnt wait to write a review. First time here, the food and service fantastic. My wife had the resilience scrambler and I had the Jebbit sandwich along with a banana nut pancake. Just the right amount of food. Good thing there wasnt more or I would have over eaten. Always looking for a place right off the highway 495. Cant wait to come back.

Counter seating used to be first come first served, most breakfast places are like that. Too bad the old service style is gone. Food not as good as the old spoon, not cooked as thoroughly, eggs, toast.

Had an excellent first experience! Service was good and super friendly. Monkey Belgian was fantastic and the avocado omelette was unique and full of flavor. Would go back in a heartbeat!
