First my apologies for writing such a harsh review about this restaurant. We were visiting Cambridge and were in a hurry to get back to New Jersey. So we decided to picked up some Indian food to go. So we decided to pick up food from this place. I ordered 4 seekh kebab, 1 chicken kebab and 1 goat biriyani. The guy who took the order have no clue what he is doing and could not even explain me that each order of seekh kebab has three pieces in it. So I did not even realize that I am going to get 12 pieces of seekh kebabs. I even question the order size when he quoted that the price of each kebab was $9.99. Generally it cost $1-2 around NJ/NY. That guy could not even explain it. Anyway I picked up the food and started to drive without checking the order. After driving for 15 mins (by that time I was out of Cambridge) when we checked the order, we saw 12 pieces of kebabs, 1 chicken kebab and 2 nan. No Biriyani. It was too late to for me to go back so I called this restaurant to credit back for the Biriyani which they did. Now the real review on the food. The seekh kebab was a horrible one. I never had such a horrible kebabs (Seekh and chicken) in my life. So if anyone has rated this place as good one, I would recommend them to check their taste buds (sorry guys). The meat was so hard and stinky. I would strongly discourage this place.

Another Indian restaurant in the neighborhood trying to cater to people used to largely north Indian cuisine. What we are missing are the distinctive East Indian (or Bangladeshi) and South Indian cuisines around here, so what is their angle? We were in a large group and so shared quite a few items. The haleem was good, so was the nehari. The garlic naan was good, although I personally prefer just unbuttered naan, fresh off the oven. The best item was malai chicken--soft, juicy, and the spice was not too overwhelming. I wasnt blown away by the chicken biryani but it wasnt bad. However the bihari kabab was chewy and the fish curry was terrible where they deep fried the fish and put every conceivable spice in it. If the fish wasnt dead before, it was after the spice cocktail was added. (that is where I missed the East Indian cuisine the most--you need to make fish curry without killing the distinctive flavor of each fish). In terms of atmosphere, it was a bit cramped and loud (but also kid friendly). They have their own parking so that is certainly a plus point for Cambridge.

Waited 1 hr to get the food (at 4 pm which is not a peak time). Paneer makhani was sweeter than sweet dish - with no makhan (butter). But the owner was very nice to replace it with a much better preperation. Biryani was average. Samosa had corn and other cut vegetables. Non veg lamb seekh kabab was good. Overall average. But the manager was very nice and gave us complementary dessert... kheer / firni which was extremely good. I sincerely hope they do better next time.

Aside from the decor - which from a distance resembles fast food - this a gem in the rough. Good quality lunch buffet for $12. More vegetarian options that meat, though great beef and chicken options. The place shows through that they care about the customer. However seriously they need to not have four televisions going, and need to professionally renovate the place.

A nice neighborhood Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant. Bangladeshi national TV on one of the walls and from what I can tell local Bangladeshis frequent. (a Bangladeshi grocery store is around the corner) Went for the buffet ($13/person) and enjoyed the fish, beef and vegetable curries. Not run of the mill south Asian food. Kheer (rice pudding) was also tasty.

Food is good. Service is not great though. Staff seems kind of untrained. Ambience is alright. Space is small. About 50 seats in a small space. Its also semi loud. Somethings always on TV. And its kid friendly so you can expect families there too. Cheese naan is out of this world. Id also recommend the Moglai paratha appetizer for a unique surprise.

Nice setup. Have lots of space for big group. Cooking is east indian style. Buffet has decent amount of choices to take from. But options for desserts in the buffet are not much, in fact only one was available for us. Biryani tastes good, but not excellent. Beef curry was delicious. One can easily try it if he or she likes indian food.

I went to this place last night with my family and I was completely blown away with their fast yet polite and caring customer service. We got our order of about 10 entrees in less than 20 mins and every dish I tried was amazing. I HAVE FOUND MY FAVT INDIAN FOOD PLACE.

Service is just okay, but the food makes up for it ten-fold. You can sit with a nice view of Porter and all the tandoori chicken you could want. Highly recommended assuming youre chill enough to deal with average service, which some reviewers apparently arent...

The buffet is a great deal! The chicken curry was great, and they had a unique dessert which I believe was called "Sweet Vermicelli." The buffet is a reasonable quality at a good price. They even provided naan at no cost! We will be going back.

This place is more of Bengali food. So if you are looking for indo Pak food this place is not for you. Never try soup, it does not look like soup. Expensive. Service, hmm so so. Only pro , parking.

Went to Boston just for one day and was looking for a Bangladeshi restaurant. Fish, mix vegetables and chicken tikka masala were awesome. The service was just okay. Overall food quality is good.
