FOOD: We (4 OF US: 2 Vegetarians) ordered VEGETARIAN PLATTER: 1 Paneer pakoda: tasty; 1 samosa: tasty; 1 aloo tikki: not so tasty; 3 onion pakodas: Good( acc’ to my frnds); SHAHI PANEER KURMA: It was good, really good but I ordered it Hot and it wasnt. Not al all spicy for an Indian; MURGH SAAGWALA: Not good; VEGETABLE BIRYANI: It had Almonds and raisins and lots and lots of vegetables, which is not how I would like my biryani. Not so good.; GARLIC NAAN: Very good; RASMALAI: Definitely not a good rasmalai but if you just want to have it then go ahead. The soup of the rasmalai is supposed to be made of milk but it tasted like it was made of sugar syrup and milk added for the color factor; BADAMI KULFI: Same again. Didn’t feel like it was made of milk. It was too watery. ; PISTACHIO SHAKE: Very good. Not too sweet or not too thick. Really good.; The quantities were good enough. We got back a lot of food. We were 2 guys and 2 girls.; The place looks better than in the pictures on their website.; Try to be there before 9:30pm even if it says 11:00pm on their website. We went on a Sunday night.; The staff was very courteous and responsive.; I would call it pricey only because it was not the best food. Otherwise, its just how a good indian restaurant would price its dishes.;

Ive been to plenty of Indian restaurants, so my rating is based on all the experiences I have. We went on a Sunday at 5pm, there was about 4 others dinning, so while four adults and an infant waited for a hostess for a full 5 minutes, we were seated. Thankfully we had a groupon. Took about another 5 mins to get a waitress and bring us water and a menu, took another 15 mins for someone to actually take our order. In the middle of our appetizer, our dinner came. The food was okay, had goat curry, eggplant and okra, nothing wow. Waited for our glasses of water to be filled while we waited for whichever one our waitress was to clean our plates. All in all, it was an hour of waiting around with mediocre food and less then enthusiastic staff.

Although, people write reviews of how great the food was, I didnt even get the chance to taste it. The restaurant closes at eleven on Saturdays, we got there at 10:08 to be exact. We were treated very rudely. The staff demanded that we order our food quickly before even letting us sit or take off our jackets. When I got up to go to the bathroom the guy told me to sit back down and order my food first. When I told the guy that we needed more time to read the menu he rolled his eyes and walked away watching us from far. We just got up and left. Lack of courtesy and unprofessional is all I have to say!

Went on lunch with my husband,we ordered two appetizer and they took half hour. Our Pavbhagi and dhosa both were cold like made it hours ago ,we thougt after this long(half hour) our food will be fresh and hot.They says its Indian resturant but its not true,I dont think their cooks know how to make indian food.I told them to make my pavbhagi spicy but it was very very mild like made it for sick people.Dhosa was like rubber and sambhar was like water no taste at all.Their dishes were dirty and people were rude.Over all very bad place to eat anything.

I simply dont get the poor reviews. If you want dirt cheap Indian food you will likely get dirt cheap quality. Service was very good. We had the vegetarian Thali. (In my experience Thali is very hard to find in the Boston area.) Had the mixed veg and veg korma - as good as any Ive ever had in the states. Thali comes with rice, dosa, naan, dessert and coffee/tea. The price was excellent. We were given fresh hot towel at the end of the mean. Really impressive experience.

The food I had tasted burnt which disappointed me. Ive never experienced that at any restaurant Ive ever been to. What made me feel awkward and not want to come back was the service. Im sure some may say its a cultural thing but all the other Indian restaurants Ive been to the service is top notch. An example of the service here when I asked for water they look at me like I had three heads. Wanted to love this place but the place doesnt want to love me back.

This is, to be blunt, white people Indian food. What I mean by that is that everything is mild, in both heat and spice content. The best thing there was the kheer because it had so many spices in it, unlike the dry chicken tikka. The service was sub par, was seated and didnt get the naan for 10 minutes. It took ages to ask for the check. The atmosphere was nice, but thats not why I go out to eat; Id eat at a school cafeteria if they had good saag paneer.

I want to shout out Bukharas excellent delivery service! My family would order one of their dinner for two specials, either vegetarian or with meat entrees, both of which are best values at this place, and our food always arrived hot, and usually well before the modest delivery estimate they would give us. The restaurant experience is very good as well but the take out and delivery service here is really on point!

My first time to this place. WHAT A HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! The food took forever to come! when it finally arrived it was hard and dry! the rice was cold and needed to be cut with the fork. the meat needed to be drowned with the masala sauce in order to get it softened to chew since the knife wasnt cutting it. The service was very, very slow! WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN OR EVEN RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Came in one weekend for the lunch buffet. I enjoyed the food and when I told the manager I had a food allergy he walked my through every dish and told me which ones not to eat. Restaurant was clean and quiet. Since it was a buffet I dont have much to say about the table service, but they kept my water glass full. I am not a die-hard fan of Indian food but this was enjoyable and a good value.

I see some very strange negative reviews here. The food is excellent. Sounds like a hatchet job buy some enemies perhaps competitors. Ive eaten here a dozen times and never been disatisfied. In fact Ive eaten at perhaps 15 ndian restaurants in the greater Boston area and this is easily my favorite. Unless you have an axe to grind, I strongly recommend this restaurant.
