We went here for dinner on a Thursday night because we wanted to try some southern indian food instead of the standard northern indian dishes you get at most places. The menu includes a decent selection of both and the food was very good but not the best Ive had in Woburn. The service was friendly but a bit rough around the edges. We asked for recommendations for southern indian dishes since we arent as familiar with them but the waitress just suggested samosas, naan and chicken tikka masala. She also didnt seem to believe us when we told her we wanted things medium spicy. I think she just assumed we were clueless white people. At one point there was also really loud crunching sounds (like scooping ice cubes) coming from the kitchen for about 5 minutes. Im not usually sensitive about these kinds of things but it was distracting enough that it was difficult to carry on a conversation. The decor is fairly nice but not distinctive and the giant bar (leftover from when this was Tanner Tavern) is a bit out of place. Contrary to some other reviews Ive read, I thought the prices were about right for the quality of the food. Overall, I would recommend Dharani if you are looking to expand your horizons and try some southern indian food. But if you just want the standard stuff, I think you can do better.

We had one of the worst experience yesterday at Dharani Woburn. We ordered Goat curry after being sure about no curry leaves and coconut in the gravy but they gave us the Goat curry with coconut which they confirmed and apologized about the same.We thought its fine, that was just a mistake but again we got another dish of Goat curry with curry leaves. So we informed them again, got our dish changed again. This time again I felt the coconut thing in that gravy but didnt asked them to change since we were getting late. The horrible part was Naan- As I am not sure about the hygiene part as our Naan got cold sitting on table for long because of their mistakes, these people didnt bother to ask us to get us another fresh Naan on their own.Instead we had to ask them and was surprised to see they reheated the same Naan that we sent as there was one slice in that with our bite .We did left the tip though didnt wanted to but I dont think so I will be able to go again to that place or would recommend to anyone.

I would never recommend such place , i have ordered deliver here on Saturday night .after i have received my order i was quite doubtful with the quantity as it was so less. so i called them again to confirm if it was a mistake or they serve that quantity . the guy who spoke with me replied they provide only that quantity , then i just hanged up the call.the guy whom i spoke with earlier called me back and started to argue with my friend with so much arrogance. he was so rude and arguing about y i hanged up the call, i told him i got the answer so, i just hanged it up. he went on arguing like hell. start up restaurants will never survive with such type of guy. i would never visit this place or recommend it.never ever order deliver from this place. so worst

Laid back service with unwanted quality of food. Overpriced for such a quality of food i.e . $22 for a person. Service was really poor as the staff was very less and seemed tired for a sunday. On top of it, you get small packaged drinking water bottles, this bottle is free for the first time. When asked for more water, they charge you $1 for extra bottle. That is like charging a customer just for entering the restaurant. Otherwise, there is no good reason to give this restaurant a good rating. They should really go to other indian restaurants who charge $12-14 for a buffet and are far better from what this is.

Initial days restaurant was good, now it as become worst restaurant in Boston area. Restaurant is over rated and staff is so rude to customers. You can see hair in the food and when bought noticed to staff , they dont care about it and just rub it out saying it is very common thing and pushed onto customers. Same thing was experienced by one of my friend as well. restaurant is over charging customers for the food. I dont ever recommend this restaurant to any one. I would have not given single start for this restaurant unfortunately there is no option.

I think theyve had a recent change of management! I had dinner there yesterday evening and had a great experience. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and kind to us. I had the chicken fried rice which I feel was the best tasting chicken fried rice Ive ever had. The garlic naan and vegetable samosa were also excellent. Definitely recommend giving it a chance.

Worst Buffet experience(I highly do not recommend this place) 1. Most of the items are empty. They did not refill for at least 40mins. 2. forget about the taste.....Items are not fresh and most of them are cold. 3. Very very bad service ☹️. Please add more staff or dont take customers. They are not clearing off even plates from the table.

If youre looking for proper indian food then this is the place to be which will take you straight into the lanes and alleys of India. The ambience adds to the friendly service offered. Francis and AJ are there to take care of your food-oriented cravings.
