While i was hunting for an good indian restaurant with true indian flavour and spices in boston area. I found this restaurant on brighton ave and just came to try it once. It was on friday evening crowded with many people. I had recieved a great welcome from this guys. I ordered palak paneer with some garlic bread and it was served with great taste. Mango lassi was really awesome. These guys also do home delivery and they are very sure about 40 min delivery time. It was like another good news for me, where i can get food from the best restaurant within 40 minutes. I would like to rate this restaurant as top indian retaurant where i could not found this taste in the other retaurants which i visited near this area. My friends from different countries like indian food and they all keep asking me the best indian restaurant, so now i can proudly suggest this restaurant for best indian tasty food. Thanks for the management and staff for serving the best indian food.

Went in with a some friends, the place was packed. We waited about 15 minutes for a table to open up and it was well worth it! It is one of the best indian places Ive been to for food taste and quality. They also have a fairly decent beer and wine selection available. Its a small restaraunt, and the tables are close together, so you will hear what your neighbors are saying and vice versa. I would call the layout slightly better than functional. If you want great food, and a VERY accomodating staff that make you feel at home, this is the place for you. If you want a quiet cosy place for a date, just get take-out and eat at home.

Excellent Goat Coconut ($14.95) w/coconut milk, onions, tomatoes and herbs, in a medium ---as requested---sauce, was the highlight. The goat meat was tender, falling off the bone (beware of tiny bone fragments, however), the sauce scrumptious. Lamb Coconut Korma ($13.95) w/boneless lamb, coconut milk, onions, tomatoes, and herbs in a mild sauce was also very good, the lamb slightly less tender. Onion Naan ($3.50) was fine except for some excessive peppering in spots. Loved the iced-cold Taj Mahal Premium Lager. Service was appropriately solicitous.

I get take out from here at least once a week. Everything Ive ever had has been awesome in terms of freshness, flavor, portion size and the staff is remarkably attentive even to a food allergy I have. Masala, mango chutney, Korma, Jalfrezi, curry ... all good. Prices are what they are but id rather pay an extra $2 for my dinner knowing that it is going to be that much better than another place. The service is always superb, good group of people there each night. Plus, they deliver and it is usually fast. Highly recommend.

My experience wasnt what I general expected to receive from a highly rated establishment. I am sorry to say that we were not treated with a warm welcome. The gentleman seemed in a rush and it turned out they were closing in 30 minutes this mind you after we arrived hungry around 2:30 pm. The food was ok, but lacking a few items we expected because it listed in the menu. The service was rushed to get us out of the restaurant and we dont feel that our treatment or the quantity was fair for the price we paid.

Im here in Boston for a conference. I was looking for places that deliver and saw that this place had a really big vegetarian menu. Of course Indian food in general is big on veggies. So, I figured my mother and twin and I could eat there. It was reasonable, it arrived scorching hot. Which was great. It was packed very neatly. Also, it was delicious! I had the basmati rice and veggies. That was incredible. They didnt overdo or underdo the spices. Everything was generally very good.

Food is ok - but expensive. I had the dinner platter and It came with soup, some appetizers and a mix grill. I had the lentil soup which was ok but the coconut soup was better The appetizers and the mixed grill were really good. There was a lamb dish and tandoori chicken. Our meal was almost $30 each (including drinks) which isnt bad for Indian food but given the amount of cheap restaurants in the vicinity, I expected the menu to be a little cheaper.

My husband and I have been coming here for years! The food is incredible and truly authentic. We have loved every single meal we have had here from the Malai Kofta to the Chicken Jalfrezi. The best part is that I am a vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater and neither of us has to compromise to pick this restaurant because they have so many options for each of us. I promise you wont regret it!!

Loved the vegetarian dishes I ordered. Aloo ghobi and mixed vegetable Masala. The service was outstanding. Will be coming back again. Update: Got take out from here and it was amazing and consistent. We ordered the same dishes, tasted yummy! Because it was a saturday night, order took time but they apologized and gave us complimentary desert. They really care about their customers.

While this place has good food, the customer service is HORRIBLE, the people are rude and the amount of time it takes for the food to come is just uncalled for. I ordered the chicken Marsala and found a hair in my food which completely ruined the desire for me to come here ever again. Bukhara Indian Restaurant in so much more authentic and just a better experience over all.

Staff was friendly. The decor was elegant, but most importantly, the food was amazing!! I saw the window adored with all of thier prestigous acalades theyve earned, so I ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan to surprise my roomate from Mumbai. We were both blown away by the flavors! Best Indian food in Boston, hands down.

Ordered takeout. Overpriced and flavorless. I thought they forgot our "mixed vegetables" that comes with the "Dinner for Two" but when I called they said it was actually this tub of flavorless broth with literally a single pea in it. Quite a rip of for $40 when there are SO many other good Indian restaurants around. Look elsewhere.

Went for lunch with my girlfriend and had a fantastic experience. Cute, clean, tasteful decor; yummy and reasonably priced food (especially Nan & Poori bread and Chicken Tikka Masala); and friendly, punctual service. Cant expect any better from a dining experience. This place is our new go-to Allston lunch/dinner spot!

Ive had a several plesent experiences here. Very cozy feel. Service is helpful and happy. 3 out of 5 because on a weekend night it seems to take long to get your food. I think its that they favor the deliverys....in and out in and out....it can get cold in this place quickly....good food tho, afternoon kinda place for me.

Delicious food and seemingly authentic. Spice hotness levels seem to very visit to visit but are never over the top it seems. They have all the staple foods and always some great Hindi music videos going on the TV. Great service and parking is usually pretty easy to come buy for lunch during the week.
