Craving a taste of home on a Friday night, I wander Chinatown in search of something familiar. The hanging BBQ grabs my attention and I stop in to familiar sights and smells. I get the choice of 3 (R3) of the duck, cha siu (bbq pork), and crispy pork. It comes in a Styrofoam box, with some cabbage and a soup (a Wintermelon and peanut broth). The cabbage and the soup were the best part of the meal. The soup was salty and savory, the cabbage well cooked and tasty, if I could just order those 2 I wouldve. The duck was overcooked, with not enough 5 spice to boot. Underflavoured. The cha siu was the right doneness, but not sweet enough. Also underflavoured. The crispy pork sure was crispy- it was over cooked. The rice was the most disappointing part. They didnt add enough water nor cooked it for long enough. The rice was hard and undercooked. I cant excuse poorly cooked rice... especially when its made in a huge commercial rice cooker. Thats something weve been doing since we were 6 years old. You CANNOT mess up rice and expect another Chinese person to let that go. The poorly excuted HK style BBQ is almost excusable, its rare to find knock-out good BbQ stands in HK let alone Boston. But pay attention to your rice for goodness sakes. Still, mediocre BBQ is better than none. I just wish I didnt have to order a full meal just to get the soup. The soup was dank.

Large portions of delicious food at a very reasonable price! There are a ton of different options on the menu, and the meat is always juicy and flavorful. I usually get the 3-meat combo with Peking duck, scallion chicken, and crispy pork. The vegetable side changes from day to day, but is usually either cabbage or broccoli (also yummy). If you eat in, a bowl of soup is also provided. There is often a line, but it moves very quickly, so if youre hoping to get take-out you can get your food easily in 5-10 minutes maximum. As the shop name suggests though, this place is decidedly not for vegetarians. Would highly recommend dropping by for some of the best (in my opinion) Chinese BBQ in town!

Yesterday was one of the most gorgeous weather days of the year (June 22, 2017) so I decided to dine in the greenway playground in Chinatown. I went to Quick Pic BBQ for the first time and ordered a half pound of crispy roast pork and a half pound of beef tripe to go. One of the BEST meals Ive had this year ANYWHERE. The crispy pork was CRISPY. Perfect. And the tripe was cut in thin slices and in a savory but not overwhelming brown sauce. Sicilians love tripe and crispy pork as much as the Chinese do. Tiny place, but clean, neat, and you can watch your order being prepared as you wait. Cant wait to go back.

This place has great Chinese bbq for a great price. If you go at lunch, go a little early. There is very little seating and can fill up fast. I especially like the roast pork and crispy pork, but its all good. The scallion stuff is good on the side. Definitely get it. The only downside is the soup - its basically flavored water with a carrot slice. Dont waste your time on that.

脏,态度差,食物怀疑过期!I was there with my friend today and ordered a noodle soup, it was sooooo bad. The noodle was disgusting, and tasted spoiled and sour. We threw the noodle away immediately. The waitress did not even want to replace our orders. We left immediately. I was such a fan for quic pic over past 6 years, and I have witnessed its standard gone down for the past 2 year. Shame!

Great food + horrible service. Im eating a delicious spicy beef that is not only not what I ordered, but was also more expensive. After a few attempts to clarify that the food they handed me was clearly not a combo plate with pork, beef and soup, I just left in frustration with a skype call to catch. There are comparable options around, so Id skip this one.

The chicken rice was good and it cost only 6 dollars. Service was fast and but you may want to drink more water because is a little bit of oily, which is normal i guess.

Decent roasted duck, but it is a bit oily. The service is bad, which is expected in Chinatown. Will definitely come back to try some different things.
