WELL WORTH THE READ AND HOPING THE OWNER DOES.... I usually dont take the time to leave reviews however in this case i hope the owner reads these so that is why. DO NOT CHANGE SOMETHING IF IT IS WORKING FOR YOU.... I used to go here and it was packed now it is not REASON WHY you might wonder... WELL..Who the heck changed the menu??? People get used to a place because of what you serve not to be changed up and serve something different and to beat it sucks.... IT SHOULD NOT BE CALLED A Smoke house because it is no longer.. THE FOOD SUCKS NOW... And the menus OH MY GOD..They are saturated with old food stained and wrinkled up . I can not believe it i really cant It had to have changed owners or a partner left because this place turned a total 180%.. ITS SAD REALLY... SAVE YOUR PLACE AND GO BACK TO A SMOKEHOUSE BBQ. People are used to that If you have a favorite place to eat you usually go back because the food is good and there are items on the menu you enjoy..Hell your menu does not have much on it anymore..What great combos it had before.. ALSO TELL YOUR WAITRESSES NOT TO LIE. BE HONEST.. ITS REALLY SAD SITUATION..

I am still confused and have to go back, I made the mistake and brought the kids, a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. I did call ahead and asked if it was kid friendly and was told yes of-course and I asked about booths well yeah maybe during the day. Booths are extremely limited and taken so we had high stools that for adults are great but for a 4 yr old not fun. We left as fast as possible although I did have the Tots,Macaroni and Brisket and the Tots and Mac OWNED the brisket. I am from Texas and know brisket and it was kind of mushy but had a great smoke flavor but mush texture. I do think another time with no kids I will try it again and update my post.

Greasy meat that tasted like liquid smoke, watery sauces that arent true to title (as in that is NOT Carolina style), the slaw was...wtf was that? My kid wouldnt touch the mac & cheese. They were completely dead and the service was still horrible. We stopped on the way through on our way back to the part of the country where bbq comes from and were all sick to our stomachs.

Crissy our waitress was more like a lifelong friend not just a server who made our visit and meal an awesome adventure. So us coming back to see your friendly face and experience your wonderful hospitality again is inevitable... Great attention to detail in their food! Carolina and baby back ribs were great, with a sumptuous dry rub on them. Bourbon and cranberry BBQ sauce were fantastic. Cornbread with cranberry butter was delicious. Baked beans were really complex and good, just like the coleslaw. The six pack of BBQ sauces at the table was awesome. Would come back anytime.

The trick is to watch the Phantom Gourmet Short then order =D but in honesty Google up the video for little bit of a preview i love it they love it you will come to love it. Yes that apple crips ice cream really is that Great. lives less than mile away couldnt be happier with the neighborhood addition. notice i dont need to talk up their bbq ;)

Awesome food, atmosphere and wait staff! Its nice to have your signature dishes such as the pulled pork nachos, that are delicious, but to have your own build your own options also for your dinner, are fabulous! Have to try their sweet potato fries and the chocolate cream pie! To die for!

Amazing!!! We wanted to try something different and we found it!!! The food was fantastic, they had brisket wich is hard to find on a menu around here (and if you do its never cooked right) we will definatly be repeat customers!! Thank you for getting BBQ right!!!

Very very fast service so good if you have kids. Gets pretty busy by 6:00... The brisket and pulled pork all need extra sauces and were dry as a bone which Ive seen on other reviews. Just make sure you use the sauces on the table! Prices are reasonable

Awesome food! Best BBQ around. This is a hidden gem in Carver. They have a six pack of all different BBQ sauces at every table. Cant beat prices either for meal. Get the chicken lunch with two sides its like $7-8. Drinks are priced like everywhere else

Not impressed at all. BBQ food wasnt what I expected especially if I am paying someone else to make it. I could have done better at home. Music is ok, service was also pretty good. Honestly I would go for music and drinks and thats all.

I had the nachos & they were delicious! Others in my party felt like the meat was smoked well but a little under seasoned. Prices were good & staff were super friendly! Come with kids or by yourself; totally casual, comfy place!

Was really looking forward to eating there, but my meal was not good. Mashed potatoes were cold, onion rings were hard as a rock and my smoked sausage was awful. But the service was really good and fast,would go back or drinks

Great meat. Collard greens were no good though and thats a good test of a barbeque place. 4 sauces could have been a little more differentiated but they were good. Some other sides were really good too - try the tater tots!

Saw ad in newspaper and wanted to try. Food was great, but waitress never came back after delivering our meals. We ran out of dressing and had to stop until we went to find her. Meals got cold. A disappointing experience.

Brisket was chewy and not at all smoked. The collard greens were cold and bland as well as the macaroni and cheese. Out of our total party of 4, the only dish that didnt have any complaints was the flatbread pizza.

The ribs were good but very small portion The sides flat out sucked. Got the hand cut onion rings and they were cold and dry and so was the macaroni and cheese . 50 bucks down the drain. One word "Horrible "

Great food, clearly home made recipes and comfortable staff who are bear at hand but give you space to enjoy your meal the way you like. Seriously great food, though. Get the cornbread & creamed corn!

We discovered this place on TV diner. They raved about the "fall off the bone ribs" Four of went that weekend. We all ordered the ribs and we all needed a steak knife. Need i say more!!!!!

Food was about as good as you can get for BBQ in Massachusetts, but the beer list was abysmal, nothing goes better than beer and BBQ, and sorry I cant get behind having a Yuengling with my dinner.

Solid BBQ relative to whats available in New England (which isnt much). Sides were "meh" but mains were excellent. Beer could have been colder. Atmosphere was nice.

Good traditional dry rubbed smoked bbq. Large portion sizes and excellent choices. One of my favorite bbq joints and a must visit if in the Carver area.
