Stumbled upon this place recently and very glad I did!! Wasnt sure what to expect, but was blown away by the food, especially the Smoked Turkey. It was honestly the best I have EVER had! You can tell everything is homemade, and restaurant is VERY CLEAN! I had baked beans and the house fries, they were AMAZING!!! Thought it was cool they offer beer and wine from local establishments as well, and after talking with the owner can tell he truly cares about the community and putting out fresh food, and it shows. When I pulled in parking lot I was already swept off my feet by the aroma coming from the smoker in the back. I caught a glimpse of a cook "mopping" ribs as he stated, and they looked INCREDIBLE, def have to try on my next visit. I have gotten Brisket and Pulled Pork for takeout also, great smokey flavor, and Brisket was SUPER tender, so perhaps recipe has changed after previous reviews. Also, no plastic utensils, they have silverware real plates, maybe new as well. Def a hidden gem in Westport, but not for long as FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Give them a try for yourself, you will be glad just like I was. Highly recommend!!

We order there often and the food is pretty good. Nothing amazing but better then some and theres not a whole lot to choose in westport. They have good deals sometimes but their service sucks. They are very rude and hard to understand. The owner doesnt handle customers very well. We ordered and they messed it up which our order was very small. When calling in to have them fix it we explained it was a long drive and since they now have delivery we asked if they could deliver the correct order because we live at least 20-25mins away. And although they have delivered here before, refused and said its to far. They also said that they would only give us a free meal ($8.95) for next time. but the order they gave us we would never eat, so what were we supposed to eat? After a long and frustrating conversation i got them to give me back my full amount ($20) and we "returned" the food and the owner refused to speak with me. It was a very frustrating situation and i will never do buisness with them again!

Unfortunately we recently went to a wedding catered by this business and saying the food was terrible is being kind. The bride and groom had planned every detail carefully and hired this caterer because he supposedly had an award winning reputation. That was definitely not evident at this wedding. There were less than 100 people at this event and he ran out of food so that at least 30 people in attendance ate zuchini strips and rice.. no chicken, no shrimp. Thank goodness it was family that didnt get to eat. He even ran out of rolls and butter and had no paper plates for the wedding cake, which was made by the brides mother. We could have put on a better reception ourselves. How disappointing for the bride and groom who worked so hard for over a year to make their day perfect only to have it ruined by an irresponsible business person. Despite the poor food, we all had a wonderful time anyway and more importantly, know they are focused on a happy life together!

The brisket, pulled pork and BBQ chicken were very good. The ribs were okay but I think it was the portion that I got. The service was wonderful and kind, a very nice atmosphere. Prices were good as well

The waiter was very nice and courtois, but the cornbread was cold and stale. Also the Mac n cheese was soupy. Great wine and beer selection, but not the best bbq.

Good spot, kind of out of the way. Nice portions for the price. Pulled pork was ok, french fries were amazing!! Cornbread could have been better.
