Order from this place because I arrived super late into Boston and this was one of a few places open with a reasonable delivery time. When I ordered through the app I selected just chicken fingers and a quesadilla. After placing the order I realized I should have gotten a drink. I called the restaurant and they were able to add two apple juices to my order. A solid 40 minutes later, right within the time they advised the food be delivered, I got a phone call they were at my hotel. So that was terrific. And probably the only positive aspect of this interaction. I got back to my room and started eating to realize the food actually was not even close to good. Of my six chicken fingers, I Only ate two. Also When I got my order the two Apple juices were not there. And I had saw they also adjusted my charges with the Apple juices. I ended up calling the restaurant back and they insisted the reliever person must have forgotten the Apple juice in her car. Which really was not relevant to me as I was not going to wait another 40 minutes for Juice. He did kindly remove those charges from my order. Which was nice.

LOVE the food here but the service and interaction with the staff sucks. The person taking my order made a mistake or maybe I wasnt clear enough but when I tallied the delivery bill I got a certain amount. When asked for the price it was more. I thought maybe I added wrong....no. driver got here and I had exact change for him assuming the delivery charge and tax was why it was $6 more than my calculation. The driver looked at me and said "what? nothing for me? you think I just walked this over?" RUDE AS HELL!!!!!!!! I got more money, called and verifed the charges and instead of argue with this person I gave him the menu back and more of a tip than I should have ( i wanted him out of my face ) and told him we wont be needed the menu. There is ALWAYS an issue with this place when ordering for delivery. Im done. Its expensive and they suck as people to have any interactions with.

Order pizza here if you want your pizza delivered in 1.5 hours and awful customer service. Order made at 7:30pm on grubhub. 8:39pm I make a call to the pizza shop to ask what is going on. The guy on the other line tells me I only put my order in 30 minutes ago and made it seem like I was making things up, basically saying Im a liar. 9pm I get my pizza delivered. Pizza wasnt even hot although the delivery guy said it came out of the oven 20 minutes ago. Heres a few tips Laz Cafe; 1.) If you take 1.5 hours to deliver a pizza, its called customer service, you dont blame your customer, you APOLOGIZE and fix it. 2.) Make better pizza. 3.) Asking your family and friends to post 5 star reviews on Google is 5 years outdated. This could have been avoided if the management had any sense and responsibility for running a business. A simple call would have been enough.

This was our first time ordering from Laz. We were in the mood for breakfast food at night, and it was close by, so we assumed delivery would be quick. We placed our order for pancakes at 10:50 and we were told that it would take 45 mins for the delivery. 1.5 hours later, the food finally arrived. We tried to call them after the initial 45 mins. but the store had closed by then. We waited and waited that we debated just calling somewhere else. When we inquired from the delivery person about why it was so late, first he gave us a look like "what are we talking about?", then he tried to say that because it was last call and there were many deliveries, blah blah blah. We asked why he didnt call to say that he will be late....No response. We assured him that the manager would be getting a call the next morning. Never again Laz.

we just had a laz pizza. dont skip this little spot. it is SOOOO good. the freshness of the vegetables and sauce was remarkable. we are on the same street...howd we ever miss this gem. and the people working there care. I called to say how much we all enjoyed it, and they offered us free pizza!! but the pizza is large and absolutely full of vegetables if thats what you want. the sauce...just so homemade tasting [cant say for sure if it is] and the combination of cheeses reminded me of the old Italian restaurants we went to as kids. not like the thin crust, but the real Italian heavy tasty pizza which takes two hands to hold. you shouldnt skip this place. doesnt look too busy, but its all take out and delivery. try it and youll be writing like I am!

FANTASTIC - I ordered A pizza through Foodler during the Boston Lockdown. Let me just say now, normally I NEVER order from take out, or eat cheep food for that fact. But as i was stuck on campus I found LAZ CAFE were offering deliveries. They quoted 1hr delivery, it got to me in 25mins! The pizza was one of the best Ive had in boston ( Im from Europe and go to italy every summer and this was comparable!) not too thin to snap in half and not too thick so that you feel your biting into a lump of flower. for the fast service, impecable food and unbelievable willingness to deliver in such a dangerous time its a fantastic place, a must try.

I cant speak to delivery times because I only do pickup, but whether I order at 1am on a Saturday or 8pm on a Wednesday, it ALWAYS takes 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready. I even ordered at 2am once and they still made me a pizza. This is hands down the most dependable and affordable pizza option in the South End. Im not going to wax poetically about how its the best pizza in Boston or that Ive ever tasted, but $20 gets you a huge specialty pizza that is delicious nonetheless, and guess how long until youre eating it...thats right. 15 minutes.

Ordered breakfast here today. First of all, the delivery person refused to actually deliver to my building; I had to call and ask where she was to finally get her to come to my building; her reason was it was an inconvenience. When we got the food they forgot a part of our order. When I called them the man who answered was very rude and condescending. To top it all off, the food was absolutely terrible, on the point of being inedible. Highly recommend you NOT order from here.

Lazs breakfast is nothing short of the bomb. The last time I ordered, the delivery guy greeted me by saying, "Boss, this is breakfast." It was a great setup for the breakfast I was about to eat. Their breakfast sandwiches are real and greasy, everything a Dunkin Donuts sandwich should aspire to. Pancakes were very authentic as well. I only wonder if you order lunch or dinner, does the delivery fella chang his spiel to, "Boss, this is (fill in appropriate meal.)

Ordered from grubhub and I accidentally put in the wrong phone number, so the first part was my fault. I called to see if they could bring it back and the person on the phone was condescending and said it would be an $8 fee. I agreed and an hour and a half later the delivery shows up but instead of a pizza they brought a calzone. I was too hungry to send it back. So I ordered food at 5pm and didnt get it till after 8pm. I do not recommend this place.
