cannot believe that I spent $41 for two breakfast plates consisting of scrambled eggs w/cheese, three pancakes, extra bacon, grits w/cheese, two english muffins and two bottles of orange juice! First, the bacon was so paper thin that I could see through it and there was not much of it even though, I paid extra. Secondly, the pancakes tasted so horrible; they were gritty and almost charred looking; apparently, Stalex uses THE most cheapest provisions to prepare their food and charge triple the price. This restaurant obviously does not care about the community it serves because I am quite sure that the owners/employees prepare their food much better and tastier. I cannot believe that Stalex charges so much money and for a breakfast! This is outrageous! I do NOT recommend eating at this "OutHouse," referred to as Stalex. The only reason why I ordered delivery on December 27th is because I had company. I wish I had drove to another restaurant. I guarantee that I would have paid less at Brothers Restaurant in Mattapan and got way more for my money. I have eaten at Brothers quite a few times and it is ALWAYS delicious, fresh, and hot. AFRICAN-AMERICANS NEED NOT KEEP THIS RESTAURANT IN BUSINESS.

I order breakfast from here and Ive always order the same thing when ever I order from here I got fish and grits with a side of home fries and today I order my breakfast and the fish was cooked on the outside and slimy on the inside so I call and they said to me they dont know how the fish wasnt cooked all the way and if I wanna give them back the fish and they send me some more ... nope Im all set I wont b ordering from them no more

If I could give it less than a star i would . This places customer service is absolutely dismal. The man that answered the phone actually yelled at me because he messed up my order TWICE and then could not take responsibility for bringing me a pasta instead of a pizza ! ! Mind i never raised my voice. Cant even have proper customer service. Good luck getting anywher re in life

Im not happy at all. Only thing good they have for breakfast is pancakes . sausages are oily, taste like they dont clean. Eggs are plain , bacon taste uncooked , home fries are ok .. I paid 30 bucks including delievery and i paid extra for extra toast . my breakfast came with no toast!!! Im very disappointment. Customer service was horrible! She was really rude. Never again.

Once in a while this place is good, but I wont eat lunch from here anymore. Today I ordered a fish basket. When I got my order the spicy fries were raw. I had to pick through to even get a cooked one. Also my sandwich was so soggy, major turn off. I couldnt even eat it. So if you want to order from this spot just think twice. The breakfast is pretty good.

The prices are really high (9$ fit 10" pizza) for re-heated food from a can. the owner is a hostile lil old woman who makes it known she dose not give two shi** about you or your food. Plus not one person dealing with food wears gloves. Any other place would be better.

The customer service here is terrible. A note to the wise if your food is Mediocre you should be nicer to your customer. I only get breakfast here but that will never happend again. I will never spend another penny in this place. Good luck with Business.

With me the food is ok (did not know they dont use gloves handling their food thank God I have not had food poison) However my MAIN complaint is the service is so slow! When ordering a hot menu please allow yourself at least 30 to 45 mins before pick up.

In the past the service was a bit slow but due to the advance of technology the service has become much much better! I have been ordering my breakfast from there corbthe last few months and the service and the food keeps me coming back!

Ive been eating here since I was a kid. Love their food! I live in Georgia now. I brought my wife and daughter here, who were raised in Georgia, and they loved it! Ive always been a fan and now theyre fans for life too!!
