Ordered takeout at around 8:30pm. Now I realize this is a little late for dinner, but any other restaurant around serves dinner or at least takeout until 10, and even some til 11. The ale house informed me that they were on their "late night menu" and there was a total of about 5 menu items to choose from. Uh hello I thought this was a decent restaurant, if I wanted late night menu I would have stopped by mcdonalds. I wanted to just say forget it but it was getting late and was very hungry, so I ordered 2 turkey club sandwiches. The woman then informed me that they also dont have french fries and that our sandwiches would be served with tortilla chips. Reluctantly, I agreed to the chips after asking if it came with salsa. She said yes the chips come with salsa AND cheese! Now the chips were sounding even better.. until I picked up the order. Both sandwiches were sloppy, they looked like they were thrown together in a school cafeteria. The chips were stale and very very dry as they did not come with salsa OR cheese. I was so disgusted I didnt even bother going back. They can have my $20 I paid for 2 gross sandwiches, theyre gonna need it to keep the place open with the food they serve there.

This was my first time back in over 10 years. While the menu has improved, the food has not. The overall flavor is bland as the dishes here lack seasoning or a special sauce that would really improve the meal. I got a Caesar salad with the shrimp. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the thing i really didnt like about it is that for the the extra $5 it only came with FOUR pieces of shrimp. I also got the scrod. The piece of scrod was slightly dry, tiny and the dish only came with THREE pieces of asparagus and ONE small spoonful of mashed potatoes. Small portions are a big turn off. I found myself eating scraps off of the plates of people i was there with. The decor is all western. Lots of posters and statues of indians and cowboys. It was sunday and crowded. Our waiter was very good.

I go to the Ale House fairly often. I am usually very impressed by the food. However, the last time I went I was literally appauled and disgusted at the food. I went there to have a great dinner but I was served breaded chicken with Chicken Noodle Soup as gravy. There were literally tiny squares of chicken on top of my soggy chicken that was supposed to be crispy...and that sat on a bed of INSTANT POTATOES, with some oddly bright neon green beans next to that. Ive had mashed potatoes there before and they were fresh! I had some skin in my potatoes before but this time they were bright white and pasty!! what happened Ale House?!?! Did you fire the great cook?!?! this was wednesday night the first night you had the trivia night....id fire the cook!!

Very disappointed. Quality of food has gone downhill big time. We ordered the new "freshly made" 1 pound meatball appetizer. Center was ice cold. We send that back, replacement was so overcooked, couldnt be cut. Bottom was burned to a crisp. 3 of us ordered full rack of ribs. Again disappointed as they were tasteless. Baked beans that accompanied ribs tasted as if they were taken out of a can...tasted like Campbells beans. Lobster ravioli was ok, probably because they were pre-made somewhere else. I cant blame poor quality because they were busy. We were there on a Monday night at 630. We were about the only ones there.

We were going there for years and funny we had to wait. it was eight and were told to wait the girl was taken a phone order that was very large it was now ten past. she switched to another call and we were patient but a little hungry so at eight fifteen we decided to seat ourselves big mistake at eight thirty five. we hit the road! And really were looking forward to the Buffalo chicken dip and Im the guy who almost always gets the Buffalo chicken and Pena! Awesome ! We were able To get food but it was about a twenty minute ride and another thirty minutes so never will we wait that long again.

Never really had a good meal here & I think its overpriced too. Usually crowded and extremely noisy. I guess it would be a good place for drinks and maybe an appetizer, but I always leave feeling unsatisfied with the food when I get dinner there. Its usually greasy, overcooked, undercooked, too salty & not very fresh tasting. I did have potatoes there as a side that seemed to be instant. It seems understaffed and theres usually a long wait, though I dont know why! The atmosphere is kind of nice, maybe thats what it is? They are 5 minutes away & I avoid this place.

Apps fair, burgers and fries- good. Two of the party ordered the Hawaiian special pizza. Took over 30 minutes to be served, server did inform there was a delay. Dining area did not seem that busy, server even said "Were slow tonight" Pizzas were unimpressive to those who ordered them, under cooked. By the time the pizzas arrived, rest of party was done eating. If there is 1/2 hour delay, the server should inform management. Server only offered to refill drinks when we were all done. Unimpressed, would not recommend.

The food was okay. Chicken Pot Pie was very bland and had entire pearl onions inside of it. Chicken club was good but bland as well. I guess I was just expecting more with how busy it usually is. I assume a large portion of that is due to the event space & bar. Waiter was very inexperienced and walked away while we were trying to order. We had to almost stop him in his tracks to get a word in. Only saving grace was the decent beer selection. We will not return.

This place is usually busy for dinner but ample seating means never waiting too long. Good selection of pub food classics with a few new additions to the menu; the Blackened Chicken Pasta is very flavorful and well seasoned. Dessert menu is not extensive but selections are delicious and as big as your head. Service is quick and attentive. One of the best spots the area.

The Food at the Ale House is great. If you don;t see something you like on the menu, just ask! Cannot say enough about the folks that work there. The staff is fantastic! The managers, bartenders, waiters and waitresses, as well as the Keno station staff are terrific! They will do most anything to make your dining experience special.

Great food, value and atmosphere. Theyre perfect for taking someone on their birthday as that person gets their meal for free. During sporting events it can get loud and the booths are a bit cramped. This place can be fairly crowded on the weekends despite ample parking and a decent amount of seating.

Nothing can be perfect for everyone but this place has some really good eats. I enjoyed my time there and was treated good and got my meal in a timely manner. The only thing me and my wife thought was off about the place was the lighting. Other than that I had a great experience and a good time.
