This place has delicious, reasonably priced sushi. I havent tried any of their hot meals but the entire menu looks pretty good. It was difficult to decide, but my decision to order the sushi deluxe was a good one. It came with ten pieces of nigiri sushi and a tuna roll. Soup and salad were included as well. The miso soup was just ok and the salad was pretty standard, but I cant really complain about either. The important thing to remember, though, is that the sushi is really good, as good as youll find. They dont have a liquor license yet, but chef John said it was in the works. With friendly, comfortable atmosphere and service coupled with delicious Japanese food, you really cant go wrong.

Maki Sushi in Peabody has the freshest and tastiest sushi in the area bar none. They also are about 15-20% less expensive than other Peabody, Salem, Beverly or Swampscott restaurants. It has two bars and table service as well. In the past the service had been on the slow side, but in recent months, I am happy to say, both the food and drink service has improved and is now a strong point. Or favorite to order is the Maki Special Combo with three rolls, including the best Sunset Roll weve ever had! Dont forget to check out the specials board as they are often fresh from the pier that day!

One of my top choices for Sushi on the North Shore. Great attention to detail and craftsmanship on the creatvity. Food is definitely worth the wait, and is completely original. The lava roll and Peabody roll is served warm and always consistently amazing, and dont forget the mango roll and the homemade raspberry ice tea. Family owned and always greeted with a smile. I love this place. Full Liquor bar is almost up and running (as of 1-1-12)

Went for happy hour... Ordered at 5:15pm. The guy next to us complained that it was taking too long and the sushi chef handed this guy his sushi. Waitress didnt even come to our table until I flagged her down at 6PM and she said that the chef was cutting and rolling the sushi now. The sushi was pretty big but the salmon looked and tasted like poor super market sushi. Why have happy hour if you are gonna treat your customers like trash?

Been there over 15 times and have never had any complaints about the sushi. Its always fresh and delicious! Service is awesome they always greet you as soon as you enter the place. Their drinks look good but are a little light on the beer selection. I always see people getting take out there too so they do a GREAT business! Its been my number one choice for sushi since day one. Highly recommend you give them a try. Enjoy!

Maki has great lunch specials!! I dont eat sushi but the bento boxes are very reasonable. You get teriyaki chicken or teriyaki beef comes with white rice, tempura vegetables, and some dumplings and also a california roll which actually taste good :) oh yeah, and also a soup and salad for 9 bucks. Not bad. Definitely recommend it! Will be back for sure!

My girlfriend and I enjoy coming to Maki. The Sushi is wonderful and we have a good time eating here. The sunset roll is one roll we always will order and then we have tried adding other rolls on our visits. I recommend it as a good place to eat in Peabody. We have used Groupon with our meals and they have always honored the coupon.

Really bad service. Bitchy waitress. Drank her Dunkin Donuts coffee and gossiped with the bartender while she watched us eat. Would not honor a Groupon. Food was so so. Dont bother if you have to drive more than 10 minutes to go to this place.

Well, first NO sushi list(its a menu) how you gonna order 30 items out of menu? second sushi names dont have nothing to do with the content of the sushi, third but not least poor quality with service, long wait to take order, and food its ok!
