My girlfriend and I have been regulars at this restaurant for several months, and we love coming here for your happy hour margaritas. My girlfriend is from California, and her drivers license is in a vertical orientation (she turned 21 last year, but her license is still valid for another year). The waitress refused to accept her license as proof of age, stating that this restaurant has a policy to refuse alcohol service to anyone whose license is in a vertical orientation. We complained to the manager, who likewise refused to accept her ID. This policy is absolutely ridiculous, since dozens states allow a vertical license to remain valid for several years after a person turns 21. I understand the need to crack down on underage drinking and college students trying to use fake IDs, but instituting an arbitrary policy with no legal basis only serves to ruin the experience of honest customers like ourselves. We will not be returning to this restaurant. 2 stars because the service and food has always been pretty good, but discriminating against law-abiding younger customers with valid legal identification is not cool.

First time coming here and will most definitely be the last. I WISH I had paid more attention to the waitresses name but unfortunately I was distracted by the poor service I received and the fact that she was so kind and attentive to my boyfriend while ignoring me! When I asked what dressings there were for the salads, she rolled her eyes and sighed obnoxiously and proceeded to name them super fast. As a result, I kindly asked her to repeat them because there were so many, which she again sighed and rolled her eyes and said it just as fast. She would also talk to her friends about me who arrived right in front of me all while making eye contact with me. Food was mediocre but she had also put a piece of plastic in my drink which she so specifically made sure was in my sweet tea and not my boyfriends.

some people are just hard to please. this place is amazing, nice and cozzy environment. the food was fantastic and the staff was well mannered and professional. one thing that amazed me was when i left my hat there. i left a note the following morning asking to have my hat returned to me and the owner or manager himself gave me a call to tell me i can come and retrieve my hat. they secured it for me. when i walked through that door the manager knew right away who i was and what i came for. it was a warming. i thank you very much. if you are thinking about going here. GO FOR IT!!!!

Tonight my Fiancé and I decided to come here for dinner. The wait was not very long, and we received service very promptly. Out server, Alexis, was an absolute doll. She showed us some of her favorite items on the menu, and we chose two things from her list. The food was wonderful, as always, but her service made the whole experience that much better. Both my fiancé and I talked jokingly about how we would have to find out her schedule so we could always have her as our server. We definitely recommend this restaurant to all, and we will be back soon for more good eats and great service.

Fun atmosphere , good food, great location. My wife and I were randomly looking for a place to eat after signing a lease nearby, before heading back to Annapolis. It was packed, but we got a booth no problem, and the staff was great. Its hard to beat the fantastic Mexican place that has been a short walk from me in downtown Annapolis, but its good to know Ill have a worthy option. My Dos XX fish tacos were fantastic and far more filling than I had expected, though the refried beans were underwhelming. Ill definitely be back for some enchiladas.

This place has really good food but its not the place to go if you dont eat meat. After changing their menu and taking a lot of the meatless items off theres only 2 items that are really available (not including chips and dip) Warning too, a few hours before this place closes they have a happy hour that fills the place with college students so caution if you have kids. Alcohol and college students often leads to loud stories about their sex life (or lack of) being shouted throughout the restaurant

Went here during for Happy Hour with some friends and it wasnt too crowded the food was really good. I had The Big Burrito with chicken and stuffed jalapeños along with a few margaritas. However the waiter wasnt very attentive. On multiple occasions I had to get his attention to take an order. He seemed uninterested in our table. It was very off-putting. All in all I still recommend you try it out. The food is delicious and Margaritas are excellent.

Waited for 15 minutes to get a table with no chairs. College girls at the 4 person table next to ours had taken them for additional guest. No apology or "sorry for the inconvenience" from the manager or wait staff when we told them the issue. Though there were tables open we had to wait additional 10 minutes for another table. And another before we received water.

Went here for the tuesday taco deal and the $5 margarita after 9. The beef and chicken tacos were good and so was the mango tango margarita. Unfortunately, we had a big group and the staff forgot about a few of us, but they discounted our meal, so that was appreciated. Staff was friendly and decently attentive, so pretty good experience overall.

Nothing too exciting. Everything tastes bland; especially the guacamole. All the main dishes have liquid smoke added to them to make it seem like they were fire roasted, but it just adds a fake taste to the food. I wouldnt mind if the prices were reasonable, but its way too expensive for what you get.

I used to really enjoy On The Border, for awhile it was my go to happy hour spot. But my last few visits were so disappointing. The quality of both the food and drinks had gone down. I havent been back since but its unfortunate because I used to like it so much! I hope they can get back on track.

One of the worst Restaurant I have been in. First its so loud inside i couldnt hear my friend across the table. The booth was way to small and the seat was broken. The Waiter was nice but the service was below my expectations. The food is overpriced and was not good. I will never go there again.

There is nothing wrong with this restaurant, there just isnt anything exciting about it either. The food was standard chain tex-mex. My favorite aspect of the restaurant was that they keep all of their TVs Ive by the bar which makes it easier to have a family dinner without being distracted.

Went in for a quick bite before seeing a movie. I sat at the bar, ordered a frozen strawberry margarita (really good). Service was great, they provide everyone with fresh chips and salsa (phenomenal). I ordered brisket beef quesadilla, it was okay way too much onion though.

I know what youre thinking. Just saw a movie, thinking about grabbing a bite to eat and oh Mexican food. Think again. I dont think Ive ever had worse "Mexican" food. Theres a Qdoba down the street or matter of fact, theres anywhere else to get food.
