Watch your bill here! New surprise - NOT posted on the on-line menu nor stated when placing a carry-out order, this location now adds a special added surcharge for take-out orders. Supposedly to cover for the plastic bag and disposable aluminum tins carrying that one uses to transport the food. States that it is an extra cost" (but isnt there a labor savings vs. eat in not having to wash dishes or bus a table?) Dont know of any other Aberdeen area restaurants that has such a surcharge. Not at other similar casual dining restaurants that offer carry-out (such as Applebees or Olive Tree or Panera). And while common ownership to the other La Tolecas in the area - this one does not honor the Entertainment card to boot!

My husband and I went at 5pm on a Saturday. We got there ahead of the crowd. Our waitstaff was wonderful. Our server wasnt the only one that checked on us, which was impressive to see that level of cooperation. Our drink drinks and chips stayed refilled. The guacamole was amazing. I had an enchilada and chili relleno combo. It was very good and served steaming hot. My husband had fajitas. The portion was so big he actually took some home. We will definitely go back.

Below average food... Small, underwhelming and flavorless burritos. Mexican beer that should be cheap at a place like this is way too expensive. Table side Guacamole that appears complimentary, or at most the price of the appetizer, is double that. Service was busy and unattentive. Weve tried twice and wont be back.

I eat here once a week at least. I pass others just to come to this one on my way home. Food is hot and fast. They make great drinks and they are friendly and efficient. If you go sit in Davids section, hes attentive and gets the job done. Cant say enough about this place. The guacamole is fantastic.

I was very hesitant trying this restaurant as I am from Texas. While not as great as the Mexican restaurants I am accustomed to back home, it was still very good and I look forward to my next visit.

Love the nachos and portion sizes for the main meals. Table-side guacamole (made for you on the spot) and chips are a nice touch. Decently priced and does give the "feel" of Mexico. Recommendable.
