BLUF: Food is okay but watch your bill. There are better mexican restaurants in the area if you dont mind driving another 5 to 10 minutes. The price does not equal the quality of food. The fajita/carne/steak tastes and looks like top round. El Burrito nickels and dimes you. Example was last night we were charged $1.50 for a side of sour cream and $2.50 for a kids drink that came with the meal, so be ready to scrub the bill. They do not give you an itemized bill. Its more of a scribbled on sheet of scratch paper. In addition, they will add gratuity without letting you know. The people are nice and its a family restaurant. I try and help businesses like this instead of eating at chains, but they make it hard to be a repeat customer. El Burrito step your game up and well come back more often than when we are dying of starvation.

Wow. Thats how this had to start. What can I say. Good is the best. That is if you can get a seat, get some service, and actually get the cooks to make the food once you finally place your order with the person they call wait staff. Be sure to avoid the hours of 2-4 because they choose to lock you in and let the phone ring off the hook while you atempt to enjoy the food you just waited a hour for. Again the food is top notch. The service failes to exist. The owner explained how much she hates having to work daily while she rang us out. This is only after waiting at the register for 10 plus min and having to holler loudly to get someone to come take my money. Avoid this joint at all cost. It sucks because the food is great but too many hoops to jump thru to get it.

5 years ago this place was four or five stars without a doubt. I went there 8/19 becuase it had been a year or two since I had been there and the wife wanted a good margarita. Wow had things changed... The service sucked, the chips were stale and the food was mediocre at best. The girl working the register who seemed to be somewhat in charge had a horrible attitude. Oh and the beer was terrible too. Hard to mess that up but this place found a way. Then, to top it all off, they tried to overcharge me and didnt believe me when I pointed out the discrepancy (the girl in charge with the attitude of course). After this, I have no desire to go back.

This was my first time dining in here. Didnt have to wait at all to be seated. The staff seems to make sure everything was taken good care of from keeping the chips and drinks full to making sure my dining experience was enjoyable. The food was great! Very flavorable! You can tell this is an authentic mexican restaurant. My wife ordered a mango margarita and they used real fruit instead of syrup like other restaurants. I ordered a handmade top shelf margarita which was one of the best I ever had! Will definitely become a regular here. Great job el burrito! My waitress was amazing!

I went there last week. I ordered a taco salad to go. When I got to the restaurant my food was ready but the service was HORRIBLE!! The girl at the front was rude, had an attitude, and tried to over charge me. She sat my food on a dinning table in the restaurant and would not hand me the food. Therefore my food was just sitting in the middle of the place. I live two minutes from the restaurant and my food was totally cold and the chips were stale. I will never eat there again and will not recommend it to anyone either.

Wednesday at 6:48 arrived for dinner and my party of 3 was seated on the right side of the restaurant. We were informed that a party of 35 has reservations at 7:30. We got our dip chips drinks and dinner. At 7:20 we were told we would need to leave the booth and finish our dinner at the bar. The owner was rude and arrogant. We were also overcharged on our tab. This experience will keep myself and friends from returning. I have been here at least ten occasions. Food was ok but we were treated poorly.

I went to the bar and ordered enchiladas and they were not what I was expecting. I asked to be compensated and the EXTREMELY RUDE waitress who happens to be the on duty manager tried to make me pay for something that I did not eat or wanted and then CALLED THE COPS ON ME when I refused to pay for something that I did not eat! Needless to say, she didnt realize the sgt. was my cousin! Will NEVER step foot in there again! EXTREMELY UNEXCUSABLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I’ve given this restaurant a few chances now and expected more from a “Best of... restaurant”. Every time I’ve given them my business, the tortilla chips and taco shells have been stale which ruined the remainder of the meal. The service and atmosphere was fine, it was just the quality of the food. If they could raise the food quality, it would be a great place. If youre looking for great Mexican food than this is the place! The food is fresh and made to order. The burritos are so big, you could share them. There is so many different items to choose from, everyone will be happy. The drinks are great. No wimpy margaritas here at all. Here you get drinks that taste good and arent watered down (wouldnt recommend driving afterwards). Enjoy the walk from the neighborhood, and have a good time.

The food is okay but the people are rude I got stale chips when I picked up the order and she wouldnt give me a new ones so when I told her that I was returning the food and wanted my money back she said no and told me to take it up with your bank if you want your money back and hung up on me I have never been back since.

Horrible!! Ordered food and it was not to my liking. Was told I had to pay for the food after they had already took it to the back. Owner was very rude and nasty. He said they make up their own rules so he didnt care what I had to say. Empty on a Saturday night and now I see why. This place should not even be open.

I love their chicken tacos and chicken fajitas. The chicken in the tacos tastes like it was cooked with the onions and green peppers, so there is a fusion of flavor, rather than dry ingredients thrown together by the other restaurants in the area. We just ate lunch there and the food was great. The server was a little awkward but u can tell he tries hard. This was the second time we have been there. Its a nice small place to have a quiet lunch.

I like this place. good service and great food. I have NEVER had a bad lunch or dinner. Just had lunch on a Sunday afternoon lunch menu. Thats right, a lunch menu on a weekend.
