I’ve been to Dempsey’s several time with my grandchildren, their food is good and relatively reasonable but food takes a while to come out. I went to Dempsey’s this Saturday with my grandchildren knowing they were hungry and that Dempsey’s is not fast. I was OK with that until we had been waiting for 25 minutes after placing our order (1 child’s French toast and 1 child’s pancake and a western omelet). Then a gentleman comes in and orders, 10 minutes later he has his eggs and biscuits with gravy. We still have to wait another 10 minutes for our food. If the owner wants to run his business that way its fine with me but he won’t have my family’s business again. I will start going back to the Mountainview Restaurant in Frederick where I know the food is good, prices are reasonable and they are concerned about ALL their customers. Even with the drive from my house in Middletown I’ll get my food sooner than at Dempsey’s.

Just tried this place for the first time. Waited for what seemed like forever and the western omelet I ordered didnt even have the cheese melted and there are barely cheese in it. There were huge slices of tomato in it. I dont mind tomatoes but would have preferred them chopped into smaller pieces to have some consistency with the rest of the ingredients in the omelet. The green peppers were raw, I ate two bites of it and sliced through the rest to see any of it was done any better and decided not to eat. The waitress did not question why my plate was full or offer a refund or new plate. Rather than make a big deal I went home and had a much better omelet. I may give them a 2nd chance and try lunch but am definitely done with their breakfast. Prices are too high for quality of food they provide for breakfast.

We usually go for dinner here. The waitresses are very nice and you get to chose the table you want to sit. The menu has alot to chose from. Sandwiches, salads, dinner entrees, and daily specials are what they have. They serve breakfast too in which I have heard is the best!

We found the restaurant in our GPS and decided to try. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice town and restaurant. People were friendly and service was quick. Food was great. Had a piece of homemade blueberry pie, yummy.

Puddin--our server said if we didnt know what it was we probably wouldnt want it. But she didnt know us. We got it, and it was a table favorite. Get it if you like adventurous foods of the offal variety. Its pork-tastic.
