At first when you hear the name Buffalo Wings & BEER, you may not believe it to be a "family friendly" spot. Well, my husband and I decided to not judge a book by its cover and give it a shot bringing our 2 sons along with us one Friday night. As soon as we arrived we only waited about 30 seconds at the host stand til we were greeted warm and enthusiastically, and then seated. We explained that it was our first time here, ordered our drinks, and said we needed some time to look over the menu. The waitress returned promptly with our drinks, and asked what sort of food we were interested, and then replied with some suggestions. Being a "wing joint" so to say, we went ahead and ordered 4 lbs of wings. We split them up into 2lbs of specialty, Honey Mustard & Smokey BBQ, and 2lbs of regular Rooster, and asked that they please be all cooked well done/crispy. We also ordered a basket of seasoned fries(old bay), and were offered the option to have them "wet" (tossed in butter, then seasoned), which sounded delicious, but decided that with all the wings we were getting, that it might be a little too much for this time. The fries came out first and were absolutely delicious! Nice & crispy and seasoned almost perfect. Shortly after the wings came out, and as we had requested, they were the cooked exactly to our liking, extra well done! The boys loved it as well as my husband and I. Its great that they have not only 1 but 2 dining rooms to choose to sit in, 1 being furthest away from the bar area, which is great for families with younger children such as mine. Over all the experience was excellent, as well as the service excellent! My husband and I would like to go back and get the bar experience ourselves sometime very soon. I definitely recommend this place, 2 thumbs up! :)

On my most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised. I went to BWB with a friend of mine last night. We sat at the high bar tops, multiple servers acknowledged us. After the first round of drinks, we were engaged by Stephanie. She was amazing. She made recommendations for beer and let us try the BWB Red ale, of which we ordered more. We ordered a plate of the NEW fried chicken (AWESOME) and she added we should try the Chicken Philly, her personal favorite. We ordered it "Stephs way" which was mayo, onion, mushroom, in a wheat wrap. Delicious! We enjoyed her recommendations, personality, and engagement. We normally love eating wings, Rooster sauce and Garlic / Cajun mix. Ask for the garlic Cajun drained ;-) New sweet and tangy wing sauce is also great if you are tired of buffalo sauce on your wings.

The service was great, if you like a server to come around once an hour if youre lucky! Great, 4 beers in 4 hours, but I guess thats ok when the flying dog is $9 a beer. The servers look like Atlantic city prostitutes with burlap sacks as masks, but that was their skin. And Id rather cut my own dick off and eat it than have their food again. The rats wings were great. Oh an lastly, whites welcomed! It may have been black panther night! Enjoy patrons! ...the owner just said the air duck had a smell and all complaints are for winers! Obviously he needs to take a grammar class at an elementary school, and that is why he runs such a great business. He also responds to bad reviews in 2 seconds, maybe spend that time attending to your place instead of looking for bad reviews!

Customer service was horrible. The food tasted like it was reheated. My friend was just in there and confronted by a manager because he was upset with his service. Id rather than offering him something nice and return for possibly a better experience the guy told him never to come back. So I hope the manager chokes on a wing.......in repy...you obviously werent the reason for the business doing well since you cant even use spell check. The correct word is "been" in business. Second off I have been there plenty of times and each time i remember how much I think the food is horrible and usually the service is as well.

Gr8 service when we walked throughnthe door, it ceased when we sat down. The wings were overcooked, we were charged for water ( bottled only, even though they had cups) and we never saw utensils. Beer was flat. Im glad napkins were on the table, otherwise we might have not seen them since we had to ask about the remainder of our order. oh,yeah, 2 lbs of wings are about 9 pieces...not large pieces either. Fries were great though! There are better places to go. Id be surprised to see them stay long acting like this.

Update: As I just explained to the manager who confronted me after leaving this review: This place is dirty and customer unfriendly. They have asked me to leave in the past because "Its getting late and the bar isnt making enough money". Tonights manager implied that he agrees with this practice because its "a business decision". No need to get into all the bad experiences Ive had here, lets just say Im a local and sucker for punishment. PS, this is Germantown and I just paid almost $18 for two flying dogs.

I dont know what place everyone else is eating at, but I think this place is horrendous. Management and staff are not "professional" enough for the simple job they are doing. Too much lounging around trying to be cool with each other and customer thats why the food tastes like garbage! Service is trash as well I will never bring my family or friends back to this place again i personally think this place should be shut down or moved.

This place is okay, certainly nothing to brag to anyone about. The staff is usually okay, as some are attentive while others just dont seem to care about their jobs (its an inconvenience for you to be there). The wings are pretty good but expensive and based on the poundage -- which allows them to give you however many wings they want. You end up paying over $1 per wing (1 pound of wings are about 6-7 wings according to them).

This place is right across the street from me which is always a plus. This bar serves a very specific purpose, giving people in Germantown one more place to drink late and that is about it. No real choices at the bar, but nice beer selection. Decent prices. Food is just okay. Wings can be hit or miss. And they charge for water! You can always find a seat and it is fun to play some $2 pool here and there.

Wings arent bad. The only thing with this place is service. The entire staff pretty much stays in the back joking and laughing. No one helps or is serious about serving people. A lot of locals who go into the back to ask for drinks and food, servers never ask how your doing. Seems like a place for locals who dont look to be waited on, but like a "down at home" joint that isnt focused on service.

The only thing good here is pool. Staff are beyond belief rude. Staff forced us to pay our bills at 1am. When we stayed longer , the sister of the owner started cursing at us and said they were closed. They only kicked out the minorities. Mean while white men were sitting at the bar without being yelled at or kicked out. Never coming here again.
