Comfortable Italian Restaurant, thats how I would describe it. My Veal Parmigian was excellent. The portion of veal was very generous. I enjoyed every bite. The owner Riccardo was around and I found him to be very attentive and caring about the people who were there. For me Italian cooking should give that warm sense of home. That is what Italian Chefs aim for. This restaurant achieves that. The restaurant feels comfortable, the food fills you up, and the experience was great! I read the reviews online here before going and was pleased I followed what they said!

KinD One

The wait staff has better things to do than to be working. They make that perfectly clear, as order after order is WRONG and late too. The kitchen can make things very, very greasy or just very greasy. They can also serve a salad that should have been thrown out 3 days ago. Pasta out of the jar or can even is better than this, and I can get greasy meat at fast food. After 4 times I give up on this place. Too bad its so close (why I made my poor family go there more than once).

I grew up eating here as a child with my family it is somewhere that is very familiar to me. They switched locations and I havent gone back since. But I will be there soon and when I do go, I hope its as wonderful of an experience as it was when I was a child. It will definitely remind me of my childhood so the nostalgia will be there. I miss the pizza and lasagna. To me it was the best Italian food and best pizza in the area growing up I hope it still is.

We have been going to Italian Pines for over 20 years both here and the previous location near Lake Forest Mall. We love the food and the people, many of whom have been with the restaurant for many years. Our favorites are the chicken piccata, chicken cacciatore, fra diavoloi, the salads and especially the white pizza.

Ive been there several times and every time has yielded a great dining experience. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable. The food is pretty good and the prices are acceptable. This makes my top 5 of Italian restaurants in the Gaithersburg area.

This is a great solid neighborhood Italian restaurant. It is a small family run operation. I recommend the pizza and anything off the specials board when you come in. I usually stop in a few times a month and they are pretty consistent.

Definitely had the good feel of a neighborhood restaurant. Grilled salmon (with a side of spaghetti) was excellent. The dining room was simple and welcoming. Service was attentive.
