My husband and I have eaten at this establishment on several occasions. We try to eat there 3 or 4 times a year - usually on special occasions (anniversary, birthdays, etc.). Yesterday, we ate there for my birthday and it was very disappointing. We were there during the lunch service and I will say the food was mediocre at best. Our bill came to almost $60 with tip (and we would have tipped the server more, but the only thing she brought back with our change was $10s and $1s and we were not about to give her the equivalent of a 25 - 30% tip. And, of course, we couldnt get anyones attention to give us adequate change so we could leave her 20% to which is our norm.) We both got the Maple Glazed Salmon which came with "fresh" vegetables and wild rice. Well, the salmon was very good. I have to give them that. But, the "fresh" vegetables were cooked to the point of being mushy and the wild rice was overcooked to the point of being unrecognizable. More wild mush than wild rice. And the fact that it was $17.95 (not $15.95 as listed on the online menu) made it even more disappointing. I also requested water to accompany my meal (I also ordered coffee - not looking to cut the cost of the bill by getting just water) and the water tasted so strongly of chlorine, I couldnt even drink it. It was if though I had dipped a glass in a swimming pool. We have been eating there ever since the place opened and have noticed the quality of the food has declined while the prices have gone up and the serving sizes have gotten smaller - from the size of the servings of the side dishes to the size of the bread appetizer. My husband requested french fries in place of the "fresh" vegetables and wild rice with his lunch (because he doesnt like wild rice or squash and zucchini) and the portion size was so small it was embarrassing. We counted about 10 fries. I will say the server was very nice and went out of her way to brew me some "double brewed" coffee so I wouldnt get coffee that tasted like colored water. But, I did have a problem with the way she called me "sweetie". Im sorry. I know it is a Southern thing as I have lived in the south my entire life and consider myself a good Southern girl. But, one does not call someone "sweetie" unless you know them personally or have been invited to be so familiar. I just dont think that it is very courteous. Not to mention, I believe I was older than her. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I think we will think long and hard before going back.

We ate here after our large group visited Santa (yearly tradition). The restaurant provided coupons that kids eat free with an adult entrée. For the past 3 years, the menu has changed significantly. Today, our waitress informed us that the special seafood alfredo "only comes with 3 shrimp and 3 scallops". Needless to say, no one in our large party ordered it. The food was sub par. Two in our party complained the fried shrimp was too spicy (they both love spicy food!) The appetizers were great and the free bread was good as well. Service was excellent for our large party ranging in age. We wont be back next year as the menu with poor selection and mediocre taste makes it hard to want to. We couldve just went down the street to a regular restaurant chain and gotten everything we ordered.

Went for dinner with a group of friends. Out of 16 people in our party only 7 got what they ordered on the first go round. Two people never got the side items requested. One was actually told by the waiter "well you can get it the next time you are here". The food was bland and obviously frozen. When I approached Scott the Manager, he was very nonchalant and dismissed my complaints with "sorry". Then he actually had the nerve to tell me "you can not get fresh shrimp in here". I can drive five minutes down the road and buy fresh seafood from any number of places. If that wasnt enough, when a friend went looking for our waiter to ask a questions about her bill she walked in on the manager and waiter talking about us, as if we were the problem. We will NEVER be back.

Thought Id give it one more try (my third). Im actually sure now that this will be my last. Floor sticky, table dirty. Should have left then but had a salad which not only wasnt good but was barely edible. Vinaigrette was way too vinegary. No flavor. When I received my grouper sandwich it smelled way too fishy to be fresh. I really shouldnt have eaten it. The lettuce was totally hot and droopy. The only decent thing was the fries. The bread served at beginning of meal seemed undercooked. The waitress was very nice but I definitely wont be back. Especially after spending the next day in bathroom. It could be such a nice restaurant but oh well

This was my husbands favorite restaurant. We typically eat there 3 to 4 times per year. Today we went there to celebrate Fathers Day. We waited an hour and a half for a table ( which was ok considering the occasion) and then greater than an hour for our food. When the food arrived it was obvious it had been sitting under lamps, it was inedible. The only person that ate was our 4 Year old granddaughter who ordered Mac n Cheese (it was microwave EasyMac!). Our server was very apologetic. The manager comped the entire meal.

So-So seafood at a not-so cheap price, served with indifference and some not so benign neglect at the end, when we had to wait for 25 minutes to get our check (and credit card) back. At the time of our visit there were only 2 other tables occupied, so not like they were busy. Our server simply disappeared and we considered calling the restaurant or the Bass Pro next door to have him paged. Wont be in a big hurry to get back there anytime soon.

IFC is one of our "must stops" on the way up & down 95. Walked in @ a year after it opened not knowing what to expect, and regretted not trying it sooner. Its an interesting place, to be sure (I shudder to think of the construction/decor $$$ spent), but the food is why we return - chicken roasted on site (whodathunkit for a "fish company"?), good sized portions, properly prepared, and prices well w/in what one should expect given the location.

Hubby & I usually visit once a month. Typically sit @ the bar to enjoy the beautiful salt water fish tank. Food is consistently delicious & fresh. Our faves are fish & chips and the venison stuffed mushrooms are de-lish! Service is on point. Good selection of beer on tap for him & they have fresh mint for my cocktails. :*) Love our bartenders
