This is my first time coming to the location in frederick. I have eaten at bon chons in multiple locations over the last couple years and by far this was the worst restaurant i have been to period. Went with my family at 8pm on tuesday and there was literally one other person in the restaurant. Ordered the 10 pcs (mixed) wings and the takoyaki for appetizers. This was the only redemming quality for the night. It went downhill from there. Ordered the japchae with chicken, bul dak and the korean tacos for entrees. There was no flavor in any of the dishes and the portions were laughable. For the bul dak, the portion didnt even fill up the plate it came in. They literally filled half the plate with mozzarella cheese. The chicken in the japchae was so dry and again no flavor and i had to add soy sauce in it to get any flavor . Finally the korean tacos. Had 3 pieces of chicken in each taco and overly sweet coleslaw. I literally couldnt taste anything else. Definitely not worth the $90 spent here. Even if i try bon chons ever again, it will not be at this location.

I had to order more than twice to give a review. The delivery has always been great along with a stellar attitude, and a little charm. I may be partial to the young lady although I dont know her name. Shes awesome, respectful, and personable. The food is, as always delicious, and whoever answers the phone makes ordering a pleasure. He always remembers us my voice which makes me feel like Im talking to a friend. I cant say more about my local establishment and its staff. I know I havent said more about food than people, but look, Id never give a good review about food if the food wasnt good. In this day and age having friendly people taking, preparing, packaging, and delivering your food is far and few and in between. I love my neighborhood Bonchon and I love the staff and their apparent appreciation for me.

I Eat Bon chon a lot especially in Ellicott city and this was by far the worst. The food was not Korean style at all! This honestly is not Bon Chon, it is some cheap Chinese restraint. If I wanted to eat Chinese food I could go to a way cheaper restraint. They turned delicious Korean cuisine into Chinese food. NOT impressed.

Fried chicken / pot stickers are good but other food was just terrible. We ordered bibimbop and kimchi soontofu jjigae. Bibimbop looked okay but the gochujang was way too sweet and i just couldnt put the jjigae in my mouth. It was just terrible. Just get either chicken or any deep dried food.

So very disappointed. Fantastic chicken. Bulgogi is overly sweet, not spicy. House Fried Rice is virtually unseasoned. Slider buns were cold and cracked when pressed. Service lacking so much so that the server refilled our drinks in the opposite glasses. Kinda bummed for a first visit.

Bonchon chicken is what you go here for... But I could taste strong msg that it almost left an after taste in your mouth. The chicken is not at all true to the original (original being in Annandale va). We did try the bulgogi slider and they are out of this world...amazing.

Love Bon Chon, however first time to this location. Ordered carryout lunch special ... 8 wings and when I got home had 8 overcooked dry chicken strips. Bet the couple picking up a large order before me are missing their straps and have my wings. Left a tip too.

this is not the bon chon style at all! this is some kind of old Chinese style fried chicken I used to eat back in 30 years ago when I didnt have any other choice but the Chinese fried chicken! I need to report this issue to bon chon main company....

Friendly staff, good family environment. The wings are good size here too and tasty, not over cooked. The menu is considerably more diverse than at other locations. Great spot to stop for some wings or bulgogi fried rice

Youve never had wings like this. The outer skin is almost like tempura and it was the perfect level of spicy. This place is obviously new as the inside looked a little naked but the service was amazing. Will go again.

A very different way to approach chicken wings. Its very crispy, spicy hot and sweet all together. There is also a soy garlic flavor that is not spicy. The fried rice with bulgogi is also one of our favorites

Reasonably fast and good food for a quick lunch/dinner. No alcohol served, but they welcome you to bring your own. Friendly staff (be patient. Most are English-second-language folks.) Great lunch specials.
