Service was TERRIBLE, and so so food. Lets start with the food. We got the Kalbi, or course. Kalbi was ok, however everything around it was not good. Pan Chun, salad, it was all pretty much not so great. I was willing to forget about the so so food, until they decided to charge me $12 for Soju. If it says $9 on the menu and they charge you $12, what do you think should win? In my case I pointed out the menu price to the waitress. An eye roll and 5 minutes later, the "head" waitress visits us to say, sorry they changed the price, but it wasnt changed yet in the menu. Um, why the heck would somebody pay more than the advertised price? Or I should say what restaurant expects you to pay more than advertised price? This one. Stay away.. I really wish restaurants like this would not be in the same vicinity of a little koreatown like Centreville, I think there is a reason why it was crickets on a Friday night here. Locals know better..

Terrible. Dont go. 손님이없어서인지 일하는사람도 없어서 물먹기도 힘들었구요. 비싸길래 제대로된갈비일줄알았는데 식용접착제 붙인갈비에요. 고기도 종이장같이 얇아서 쌈싸먹으면 야채맛만 나니까 쌈싸먹지마세요 ㅋㅋ 아참 상추에 고춧가루 덕지덕지.. 이런 최악 식당 미국에서 처음이네요ㅡ

The price was too high at $116.00 for three of us. We saw the advertisement in the Korean paper for "Unlimited Meat" deal. We ordered the Unlimited Meat. The Galbi was sliced really thin, but was good. However the Jumulok was so so and hard to chew. The problem is that they charge 20% if unfinished, so we had to finish the not so good Jumulok before we could enjoy more Galbi. My wife says she understood why there are only a few customers after we ate at this restaurant. For that price, we expected better.

They over charges the price!!!!! I ordered the Galbi and cold noodle combo for 3 people and each person suppose to be $32.95. When you add them up the total suppose to be $98.85 but they charged over $164. Some how they calculated it as everything separate and included the tip on the bill. When I was about to leave they asked me to leave some tip in cash!!! when they already charged to my credit card. I used to go there quiet often, but never going back again!!!!!.

The food we ate was great dont get me wrong, but we had to wait 15-20 minutes for our food to arrive. And our waiter was incredibly rude. Shed never smile or greet us. And everytime we called her over, we had to wait 10 minutes for her to come and serve us and the restaurant wasnt even busy. Also, the portions of the food was incredibly small, we paid for $186, but we werent even full. The reason why we left was because we were tired of waiting.

The quality of the beef was pretty good and well marinated. I was fairly satisfied with my meal but the side dishes (ban-chan) were mediocre, some good and some not so good. The place has a gas grill but its different (from others) with a metal mesh which I prefer. The portion is fair, nothing huge like at Ye Chon or tiny like at Woo Lae Oak. Its not a "value" place.

Overall great food. I have ate at most NOVA Kbbq spots, and this one has the best quality meats and amazing marinades. It is also a change of pace from all the kpop and instead presents as a fairly nice/formal dining setting. And they have cinnamon ginger tea!!!

Soo Won Galbi has a good number of options, including standard barbecue choices or all-you-can-eat barbecue. We had the all-you-can-eat option A. There are plenty of great options to choose from and most the meat we had was fresh and well seasoned.

VERY MISLEADING ADS OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT. THEY DO NOT OFFER SHABU SHABU. (We came here for SHABU SHABU and bbq) Despite the good marinated meats offered it was not the best service. Worst service we had encountered. Sad to say never going back.

Good price with good size portions. Ingredients are of good quality and well prepared. Cold noodle was quite good with plenty of noodle. Some other Korean restaurants go cheap on the noodles. Not here. Clean.

owner is a nice lady. Very authentic Korean BBQ. Suwon is the city name famous in its Wanggalbi.
