This stuff is the real (European) deal, mes amis. From the flavor names in Romance languages to the steep prices. Fortunately, for a few hours during their opening day, worldly Bostonians braved the long queue and random downpours to experience a lick of Amorino for free! You can have as many flavors as you want! Which makes my decision process much easier (and fewer tasting spoons go to waste in the process). Hit me with four: cioccolato (chocolate), pistachio, caffe, and limitabile (hazelnut-choc a la Nutella). The gels were arranged beautifully in a flower shape atop the cone by the smiling, foreign scooper. Ahh I already feel like Im in Italy. Upon tasting the mix, Im really taken away. The gelato is creamy and decadent. Each flavor is strong and tastes natural (the menu and website explain the origins of the ingredients in each flavor), easily standing alone but also blending together deliciously. The first flavor they add goes more into the cone and combines less with the others, so I suggest you ask for your favorite one to be put in this place of honor. For me, the coffee flavor (complete with chunks of coffee bean chocolate) was even too strong. The pistachio was my favorite, and the two chocolates were lovely accompaniments to the creamy floral arrangement. Amorino boasts additional offerings such a Macarons, waffles, and other pastries as well as coffee. There is also seating in the back, so you can enjoy your goodies right away in any weather. The higher price points for these treats would not make them a regular indulgence, but if youre looking for an immediate escape to Europe, Amorino is a worthwhile trip.

5 stars for taste: Had a small cone with Mango, Strawberry, Passion fruit and Coconut (from center to outer most layer in picture). Strawberry was surprisingly bland but the other flavors I had were intense in flavor and tasted like you were eating the actual fruit. 3 stars for service: My first impression of the store was that the staff seemed like they rather be anywhere else than at work. They also gave contradicting information on the number of flavors you can get. Cashier said as many flavours as I wanted but server bitterly said 4 maximum. However I would like to compliment the server for doing a good job with presenting the gelato as seen in the photo. Overview: I would continue to go Amorino for their gelato and I hope their staff members cheer up. =]

I just discovered that this place existed in Boston!!! I consider buying a bus ticket to NYC to get this stuff a good value and use of time, so this made my year. Ill definitely be coming very frequently and bringing friends. I encourage everyone to come here pronto. If you have never tasted Amorino, you dont know how good ice cream or even gelato can be. And despite what the labels say, the crap you get in a lot of stores and restaurants is not real or quality gelato. This is the stuff, and it is better than any other gelato I have ever had, even from other gelaterie in Italy like Gromm. The candies are good too. Amorino is wondrous. It is my little love €>

One star for service... The kids who work there have no clue... Took them 4 attempts to get my crepe order right... Cashier girl was clearly impatient... The line was super long not because there were so many people but because they were so slow... Of course they lost our receipt so didnt know what to make... Got wrong size coffee and wanted to argue about it when we corrected her... Really no excuse for these kids... U gotta hire more competent and pleasant staff... Until then I m not going back...

Based on previous reviews, I expected them to be exceptional. But theyre more focused on presentation. And the service is terribly lacking. I shouldnt deal with an employee whom is annoyed I ask to sample before my purchase, or complains I havent tipped. Id much rather make the drive to Framingham and enjoy better quality and service at Dulce D Leche. At least their owners are on premise and care to address you.

If you want gelato its pretty much the only game in town. But you will pay for it. Costs about 2X as much as you would pay in Italy for the same organic gelato. Its def not $ rating like google maps displays. Its at least a $$ and more likely a $$$ (comparing it to an upscale I cream shop)

Ive been to the #1 rated gelato place in Rome and this place beats it. The flavors were so intense and sensational and the consistency was very creamy. Not only was the taste beautiful but the rose shape they put the gelato into is a great touch. A definite must go if you are in the area.

Last year in August, when I first tried the flower ice cream that contains the 3 flavors along with my best friend, it was like beautiful on the outside and delicious too. I was so satisfied that I wish my family could tried it because it looks beautiful and tasty at the same time

Absolutely loved it! The staff were wonderful For all potential buyers Id advise caution with the portions. The large may seem too small...but trust a 62 200lbs starving dude...I barely managed to finished the 15 dollar pint...Id recommend the large as a safe and satisfying bet!

The gelato & macaroon was delicious! They had a great variety of flavors for both the macroons & the gelato. And its so pretty! The only reason I gave it a 4 is bc its a bit pricier than I would have liked but I had to try it at least once!

Delicious gelato! You can pick from a cone or a cup, and add as many flavors as you want. If you choose a cone, they make it flower shaped, and you can optionally add a macaroon on top. Yummy and aesthetically pleasing!

Tried Amorino in Mallorca, Barcelona, Raleigh NC and now Boston. Delish all around. The Mallorca Spain location has the "gigante" size - highly recommended for those with a hollow leg and a sweet tooth.

creamy gelato excellence with lots of choices, for example the different kinds of chocolate. Amotino found a good way to handle lots of costumers quickly and efficiently. Definite recommendation!

Service was terrible! The lady who was scooping the gelato had a terrible attitude and got visibly annoyed when I asked to try a flavor . I should have just asked for a refund and walked out.

Good looking ice-cream and thats it. I tried almost all the flavors, mango and chocolate sorbet were the best of those. A place worth visiting only to take pictures of the ice cream!

The only place in the Boston area where I have found authentic and delicious Italian gelato and hot chocolate so far. Being Italian this was a huge discovery for me!

Not to be missed if you are in Boston. Best macarons I have ever had. Nice ambience, simple yet beautiful decor, nice coffee and cakes, and the macarons, yummy!

Such high hopes. But the chocolate sorbetto just wasnt great. Had a weird aftertaste. Ill probably try it again just to be sure it wasnt a bad batch.
