Good food and great service. I have eaten here many times. The food is well prepared if somewhat moderately flavored. (Edit: I have had some well-spiced meals since this review. I go whenever possible. The vegan donuts are a great meal by themselves. Mmmmm) There are many fake meat dishes, and most of them contain soy. The cheese is soy-based as well. However, there are some more natural dishes available. The counter staff is knowledgeable and quite willing to help. The dining room is nicely appointed but lined with electronic devices and video screens. One often showing a well-produced pro-vegan documentary (which could easily have cost me my appetite due to the graphic depiction of the meat industry). The video was so good however that I considered buying it. Unfortunately, there was no indication of its name, nor were there any staff present to assist. (There was however a sign stating that the videos are for sale.) The dining room is clean and apparently not staffed. Patrons come and go without any service provided.

This is a great vegan restaurant, tucked away in a rather odd location. I actually missed it the first time I was in the shopping center, because its located between a now defunct Staples and a dollar store. Nothing on the marquee hints at the fact that its a restaurant, but it definitely is and Im glad to have finally figured that out. The food is excellent, and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. I went for their Sunday brunch and enjoyed the brunch special as well as two plate-sized pancakes. The prices were very good, and the food even better. As a long-time vegan, Ive had many tofu scrambles, and the one on Everlasting Lifes brunch plate had a unique flavor as compared to others - it was delicious. My only complaint is that they dont serve coffee, but thats a very minor issue that couldnt possibly keep me away - I can always stop for coffee on the way. Their desserts and lunch offerings looked at least as good as the brunch, so I know Ill be back.

Tried a vegan restaurant for the first time and was quite surprised. Everlasting Life is primarily a take out. Though there are two tables inside and a table outside. Not sure if you can dine in the adjoining radio station, but did see people sitting in that area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sampled a couple of dishes and was completely surprised. I ended up ordering black eyed peas over rice, greens and lasagna as my primary meal. I was very pleased with the taste of all three items. If I didnt know I was eating vegan dishes I wouldnt have known. The portions they serve you are beyond plentiful. I will certainly go back and would recommend others to give it try.

I decided to come try the food at this establishment after hearing from my brother-in-law, who lives all the way in New York by the way, how great this food was! Our family has been trying to find alternative food because we have been weaning off of consuming meat. I was handed a sample of the Macaroni and Cheese by the server and a smile immediately crossed my face. This food is so great. No wonder word of mouth has carried three states away! I had the BBQ meatloaf and collard greens as well. All delicious. Might I add that it is not common to find a restaurant invested in serving Vegan food entirely in this area. Great job! You have a new steady customer.

This is probably the best vegan spot in the whole state of Maryland. Its in Capital Heights which is a little far from my home in Baltimore, but I have been coming here for nearly a decade. There is so much variety and its all better for your body! They have delicious entrees like vegan jerk chicken, bbq tofu, or pot roast and you can back that up with sides of collard greens, black beans, or the best mac and cheese you have ever tasted. If you arent really hungry, which you should be if you stop by, just grab some of thier fresh juice or smoothies. Dont miss this place. Take a special trip there of you have to. You will not regret it!

If you have high blood pressure this restaurant is not for you. is vegan and they say "healthy" but it will literally elavate your blood pressure to possibly leathel levels. A group of us are contacting the powers that be to have them list the sodium content and/or reduce the amount of sea salt used. Even though they use sea salt, it is the same amount of sodium in standard salt and has the same effect. We also have "secret shoppers" and will have their food tested. Their food is flavorful however please be carefull when eating there. As we speak, we are saving someones life.

I liked the whole concept of the restaurant but it looks thrown together. They definitely could use some upgrades as far as decor. The area toward the bathroom looked quite dirty. The booster seat we used for our son looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The menu where the buffet was station was stained and wasnt presentable. I think that more upbeat music would bring the mood up alittle as well. Being a 4 person Family I felt like I had to be super quiet the whole time. The food was really good!

Yes, the food is good. However, the place did not look clean. The floors needed sweeping and moping. The young man who waited on me seemed as though he was extremely tired, or just angry about something. I dont think he should be fired, but he certainly should be trained on how to serve paying-customers with much more enthusiasm. Because I traveled a long distance to get to this restaurant, I dont have any desire to return. I will search for another vegetarian restaurant in the near future.

Wow! I didnt know what to expect but wow! Place is pretty simple and the layout is a little untraditional. Wasnt sure what side to enter since one side looks like a deli while the other is geared more towards a dining atmosphere. Food options arent extensive, but its really good. I tried the eggplant w/soy milk cheese and it was amazing. Ive had a really hard time finding vegan cheese. The mac and cheese was really good too. Very unique flavor but very very good. Definitely worth a second visit.

All I have to say is AMAZING!!!! Im so proud to see what this restaurant is offering. Healthy food, delicious vegan meals and pastries, Alkalin water, sea moss juice, amazing service and right next door they sell all sorts of amazing African artifacts, childrens book with African kids. Educational DVD and books on historical events and activists. I just LOVE LOVE this place and I love how the owner advertises right the cash register that they bank black. ..Right on!!! This place was such an amazing find for my wife & I. My wife had to come to Largo for a managers conference with DSW and a Google map search found us one of the best totally vegan restaurants that we have ever had the pleasure in which to dine. The staff was as friendly and as helpful as could be. We left with so much delicious food because we could not finish the very generous portions they dish out. We highly recommend this great restaurant!

I went to beauty for u. I was buying a specific product called keratin oil shampoo and conditioner. I purchased the green tea and mint it suppose to vigorate the scalp and stop the itching. This product is very good and smells good too. Works well and it makes your grow, mine is down my back. This is the longest my hair has been since I graduated from high school in 1981. A little expensive for shampoo and conditioner, both cost 11.00 each
