It is clear that the staff here needs training. My server didnt know up from down. The food was fast and good....this is one of my favorite restraints. I gave my young inexperienced sever a 30% too. You know, for encouragement. The whole while I was there, the hostess and another employee were up front talking and laughing extremely loud, causing all of the patrons to keep turning around to look at them ..... entirely unprofessional. As I was leaving, I passed the hostess and just as I reached the door she stopped talking and laughing long enough to tell me to have a good evening. Because I was already past her, she didnt hear me say "Thank You" and so she said "Or not" How completely rude was that? I was too thru at that point and will not be returning to that location.

We are Veterans and decided to try this restaurant for the first time since they were giving free meals to Veterans. We thought this was a good opportunity to try it. The service we got was horrible. Once we were seated our server came up with chips and salsa, she never asked if we wanted drinks, when I asked for a gingerale she gave me a look like it was an inconvenience to her. Then we never got napkins or utensils and after the 5th time asking we finally got them. So we had to eat chips and salsa with no napkins. Once we got our bill the dinners had not been taken off of it. I asked her about it and she sent the manager over saying we had a "problem" with our bill. Needless to say we will not return to this restaurant. Way to treat veterans on Veterans Day.

Ive been to this location more times than I can count. Generally the food is pretty good for chain restaurant Tex-Mex and the staff overall is friendly. I try not to go on certain days of the week like Mondays as for some reason it seems like the less busy they are the worse the service. This week I made the mistake of going on Monday and instead of being dead it was insanely busy. They didnt take as long to seat us but once we did we had to wait for every little thing. Chips and drink/food order took 15 minutes. Food took 45+. Check took 25+ and when it came back to be signed the credit card machine was down so I had to sign an old school paper copy. I probably wont be going back for a while if at all.

This On The Border is awesome! I go there for happy hour at least once a week! The happy hour specials are some of the best Ive ever seen. Half price appetizers, which may not sound like much, but there are great choices like the nachos, which cant be beat at $5! One of my favorites is $2 taco Tuesdays. You cant miss with these tacos. My favorite is the steak, but they are all very tasty. Beer and drink specials are also awesome with $2 Corona bottles, $3 large (18oz) draughts, $4 house margaritas, and more depending on what day of the week. Plus, Thursday is happy hour all day! Go there and see Dwayne and Dana and have a very happy hour,.... or two or three.

Worst experience possible. Visited 3 on the border restaurants. Its 90 percent a company issue. Never enough people working. Very slow however took 33 minutes to get 2 glasses of water. 1 server for one whole side of restaraunt. Service has always been bad but its on a level of pure ridiculous at this point. I will not give my money or time to this place anymore. Bartender claims upper management wont hire anyone. Same bartender was laughing and talking to what appeared to be friends. Server forgot to put in food order. Over an hour later we finally just walked out. Manager refused to talk to us when we asked for them. This place is such a joke.

Possibly worst service I have experienced. Waited to order for 15 minutes with only 3 people at the bar bartender was too busy talking with her friend at the end of the bar. Wont be back to this establishment again! See photos I uploaded on how busy it was (extremely slow night). This place is a joke now save your money and go somewhere else. I had been to this establishment many times before and still cant believe that it has become this bad. Still havent heard a word from their management. I have even contacted the corporate office and still no reply.

The staff tried, but it was lack luster service with no personality. Lots of extra staff hanging around on phones. The food was all sub par, edible but really not so good. My 3 year old spilled a quarter glass of lemonade and at least three staff witnessed it, and not a one came to help, my 5 year old went and got extra napkins and we cleaned it up. I would say the only bright side to the night is being able to pay from the little kiosks at the table, so no waiting there...overall I wish we drove farther and went to Chevys

Much better than they used to be. We got a giftcard for here and initially walked in with a "oh well, its free food mentality." A few years ago we are here and it wasnt good at all. Today though? Total 180. Everything we ordered was delicious, the server was quick and friendly. My only issue was the queso seemed a bit thin, but that may be an issue of personal preference. I got the ground beef chimichanga, my fiancée got a vegetarian burrito, would suggest either! All in all I would now gladly go again.

I used to love this place but the past few times I have been there it has gone downhill. The table was dirty, the food used to be better. Our waitress was horrible. Instead of taking care of us and checking on us she was hanging around in the chip area talking to people. Whats the bad thing is there was only us and one other table in there. So its not like she was busy that I would understand.

My wife and I went in for lunch the afternoon 5/2/17. We stood waiting to be seated for what seemed like a long time. The hostess was not a the front desk and when she did appear she seemed to be preoccupied with duties other paying attention to new customers. Finally a waiter asked if we were being helped. We were eventually seated and received adequate service.

Weve been before and the food is fairly good. The service is on the slow side but usually not a problem. This trip weve been waiting for nearly an hour just to get our order. If you have the time and can put up with the terrible service... Never mind. An hour is too long to wait even if the food was excellent. Never again.

Apparently they were either super busy prior to our arrival, or short on staffing. There wasnt a wait when we arrived. There were at least 10 tables with dirty dishes in multiple sections of the restaurant that still hadnt been cleaned up. Even after we were sat, the tables remained cluttered for at least 15 minutes.

This place serves chips with delicious salsa for free, but unless you are at the bar or at a regular dine-in table, the service can be extremely slow. So, you want to avoid the tables near the bar if possible. There is a new bartender that makes the margaritas much stronger than they used to be, so that is a plus.
