I don't get all the hype over this place. We tried it out after a friend recommended it and it was just so so - the steak nachos had a good flavor from the cheese but not really seasoned with anything and the meat was really poor quality for $9 nachos. The chicken quesadilla my husband got was very bland and the service was pretty slow. We returned again last night thinking maybe we just ordered the wrong stuff last time. Everything we ordered was just not good and again slow service. The vavarta ( I think that's what it was called) was a small portion of chewy overcooked shrimp and tiny salad scallops that were extremely salty. For $14.50 I was not impresssed at all. My friend got the chicken enchiladas which were just alright and my husband got the "letter F" and took two bites and couldn't eat anymore. The foods just gross - I can make better Mexican food at home myself. Just not worth it to me - really wanted to like this place too, I won't be returning.

Im from California and my husband and I live in Glen Burnie now because we are stationed out here. What I miss, food wise, about California is the Mexican food. So one day as we were about to be driving home from my college, I get in the car and said "I need Mexican." My husband starts the car, "Taco bell? Chipotle? Qdoba?" I stare back at him speechless. "No hon, I need real Mexican food ." So we start to pull out of the parking lot *message received* and didnt even go a block before seeing a sign that simply read, "Mexican Food". Automatically I knew we had found a gem. The decor inside was a vacation from reality and the food.... the guacamole is simply outstanding. Its hard when you try something at a restaurant and love it like say, the chori pollo, and you then keep trying other things and find something, oh say the shrimp and crab quesedilla, that you love equally or more. All in all I am so grateful for Mi Pueblo What with their fantastic staff at both locations.

The food at Mi Pueblo was delicious! Very similar to the handful of mexican restaurants in the area, but had a little something extra. Two of us shared chips and salsa (complimentary) cheese dip, and large entrees and got out of there for less then $30. The salsa was thick and had a little kick, but nothing to overpowering. It paired well with the warm chips! The cheese dip was the typical white cheese you would expect, but had a good spice with jalapenos, I prefer it to what some of the other restaurants serve. My entree was HUGE! Enough for dinner, and a large lunch the next day. Lots of chicken, rice and veggies. The spanish style rice is alot more flavorful then others I have had, and was a nice treat to compliment the rest of the dish. My boyfriend had the pick 3, burrito, enchilada and taco. All were large, and delicious! The service was great, we got our food quickly and the atmosphere was lively and colorful! Definatly worth a visit!

They just opened a few weeks ago, finally got their liquor license and are serving great mexican style food in a very nice and clean restaurant. I used to live in Greensboro, NC, and loved a place down there because it had a huge menu and great prices. This place is exactly the same except for the layout. Its in the place where Top This pizza used to be and Cafe Amore never opened. My boyfriend and I got in an out for under 30$ last night (not including tip) and came home with enough leftovers for both of us to eat lunch, and we arent skinny folk... Fresh, friendly and fantastic!

I ordered the Quesadilla Texada (something like that) which had shrimp, chicken and steak in it. The food was delicious and came to the table quickly after we placed our order. I love guacamole and the restaurant has a guy who makes fresh guacamole, to order, at your table. The portions are generous, including the guacamole (which if you dont finish, they will give you a container to take home with you). The prices are good and service is top notch and fast, including refills and seating. Nachos and salsa given once you are seated are delicious as well. Overall, a great experience!!

Both times Ive been here the service has been less than adequate. Our sever gave us our drinks and took our order, then never bothered to check on us until we had finished eating. Our drinks had been empty since before the meals came out if the kitchen. Unacceptable, especially since we were sitting directly in front of the host station, where our waiter was standing much of the time. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the fajitas tasted better than most of the "Mexican" food in the Baltimore area.

I went to this restaurant due to the reviews on Google. Although the staff was very friendly, the food was not very good. I ordered chicken enchilada verde, which is my favorite Mexican dish. It was very dry. The chicken was tough rather than tender and there wasnt much sauce on the enchiladas. I also ordered flan, which had an odd aftertaste. I definitely do not plan to return again. Ive had much better Mexican food at other restaurants in the local area.

Mi Pueblo is hands-down the best Mexican food that weve found in Maryland, and my friends from Mexico have all agreed. If youre hungry, give the "Burrito de Domingo" a try. Its a burrito the size of my forearm that contains steak, chicken, chorizo, and all of the fixings. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because theyve raised their prices since we first started going, but its still worth it.

Racist! No refills bad service. When we got there, they did not greet us. They seated us in the very back by the restroom. They served everyone who came after us. Seem like they either forgot about us or didnt want us there. We sat there from 6:30 to 7:45 waiting to be served the food we ordered. Lets just say they were on hand and foot for the white folk and treated us like our money isnt green.

The restaurant may be small, but it packs a powerful punch. The food is amazing and authentic. The servers are quick and constantly roaming the dinning room. The waits can be a bit long sometimes when its busy and theres not a lot of sitting room but its worth the wait. I would definitely recommend the Chori Pollo and dont forget the guacamole that is made fresh right at your table!

My wife and some friends have eaten there at least a couple of dozen times. We have yet to have a bad experience there. Also, and I just found this out, if you place a big order for carry out, they actually (hold onto your seats!) mark what everything is so you arent guessing who gets what! Consistently good food that is full of flavor at a price that wont break you.
