If you like Eastern Carolina BBQ (pulled pork with vinegar based sauce) this place has a pretty good version of it. It is not completely authentic (there was no Sweet Tea, and the pulled pork came on a bun, as opposed to the authentic pile of meat served in NC), but the hush puppies and beans were great, and the pork, while a little on the bland side did the job (just douse it in the extra sauce that they have in bottles out by the tables). I think the other folks didnt like the food there because they were looking for something other than Carolina style BBQ (ribs, etc). It is worth going there if you are looking for some pretty good pulled pork and hush puppies.

We were really exicted to get a new rib place in the neighborhood, RUB isnt that great either but thats another post. We made several attempts to get a takeout menu, the website wasnt up, the fax machine was broken and then a drive to the location resulted in NO takeout menus. So we figured wed come back, place an order and wait. We got there at 8:15 on a Fri night only to be told that they are closed. We tried again on Sat night and actually picked up an order that turned out to be amateur level across the board. This was a complete waste of time and they wont be around long guaranteed! Give it a shot at your own risk!

Very authentic Carolina style BBQ, with vinegary pig pickin and mustard sauces, great slaw, collard greens, sweet tea, and smoked pork and ribs. Made me nostalgic for Durham; as good a recommendation as an NC native can give. Not too cheap, but theyre generous with portions and Ive never had a bad meal in the couple dozen times Ive been - and that includes trying everything else on the menu. A definite recommend.

I am visiting from Portland Oregon, not a hotbed for barbecue. I had a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw and collard greens. I loved each item and was ready for more, so I helped my friends eat some loaded fries. Imagine, fries covered with beans, chease, jalapenos and lots of smoky pulled pork, it was heavenly! I am in hog heaven! Thanks Harborque, glad we stopped in!

What I love most about this place, other than the food, is that eating here makes you feel like youre in a small town rather than Baltimore. The owners are really nice, they serve good food at a good price, and the option to eat outside on the deck (esp on the weekend whether there is hardly any traffic) is great. One of my top 5 places to eat in Baltimore.

Succulent BBQ! The owners are dolls. Best casual joint in South Baltimore. The pork BBQ is vinegary with a nice little kick. The pit ham is a fav of my sons and hubbie. The sides are definitely a highlight and not a side thought. Ive even used them for catering platters which were received with RAVE reviews. I hope this joint is here for the long hall!

Ive been very impressed by this place. Im a chicken fingers and fries kind of guy, and they do those well enough, but it was the homemade macaroni and cheese and the incredible chicken noodle soup that got me. The mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy and the soup has huge chunks of lightly smoked chicken that give it a real savory kick.

Ordered the 4 meat sampler Pulled Pork....great flavor and spice Brisket.....melts in your mouth Pit Beef....nice medium rare, tender and yummy Pit Turkey...good smoke flavor. Mac & Cheese, collards, potato salad and The Best Hush Puppies Ever. Cozy place with nice beer selection. B

I work right around the corner from Harborque. I think its a pretty good place to grab something quick to eat. The cole slaw is my favorite. The mac and cheese is good. Havent really had any disapointments. I will continue to eat there. I hope it doesnt close!

I had half rack of baby backs and bbq wings, both were delcious and the orders were prepared quickly. The coleslaw is also very tasty. Thier bbq sauce is tangy yet sweet and not tomato based. I would suggest this place to anyone in need of a quick bbq fix.

Great local place for BBQ. The pit beef was pretty good. Only downside is that I like mine a little more well done and they dont offer the option. Ill go back to try more of their menu and see if you can request more well done pit beef.

Best NC Style BBQ in Baltimore! I work around the corner and stop in after work. Ive had the ribs, pulled pork, mac & cheese, c. greens, and fries. Everything was GOOOOOD! Highly recomm. the spot to friends and family.
