2 meat platter (brisket, pulled pork) with collard greens and burnt end beans. Nice smoke ring and bark on the brisket but was sliced quite thick, about as thick as a breakfast chop which was a slight distractor. Pulled pork was ok but not much flavor without the addition of 1 of their 5 sauces. (The yellow and Carolina were my favorite with the pork). The sides stole the show as both the beans and collards were outstanding! The cornbread muffin wasnt very note worthy. Had to try the Draught Rootbeer and it was very good as well. Overall average food at a premium price but with great fast service. Seems to be just another francise brisket joint but will hold off my final opinion until I try their ribs

Urban BBQ is clean and bright, and service is rather fast. Unfortunately the meat and cornbread just arent that great. Ive had a few of the meats and although there is nothing terribly wrong with them, theyre always too lean and dry. The cornbread has a strange texture, having large chunks of corn mixed into the corn flour and has little to no rich butter taste. Last, the sauces/dressings for the meat: Theres not a single one thats not filled with sugar of some sort. Typically BBQ places will have Carolina Style dressing which is basically vinegar and a few spices mixed in. That same dressing at Urban BBQ has molasses in it for some reason. Please, guys, not everything has to be sweet!

Too much smoke and rub on everything. All the meat tasted exactly the same. The only meat that tasted somewhat different was the sausage. Food was cold, cornbread was dense and dry, beans were smoked too much and had a funny seasoning in them. The food was just not enjoyable. The only good items according to my family was the salad and french fries. Back off on the seasoning and smoke, and serve the food hot. Over smoked is not real BBQ. Wont return.

Baam, thats how I would describe the beef brisket and Cole slaw that I had last week at the Urban BBQ. The food was super, and the environment and staff were very inviting. The decor is very Maryland with a Country and modern look. Nice bar with tv and cold beer. Ill be back!!!

Great BBQ and the Mac and Cheese is some of the best Ive had!! A little pricy but most BBQ joints tend to be a bit expensive. I have been back twice since and it has been very consistent!

A BBQ place that ran out of brisket, pulled pork, and cornbread. The food I was able to try was substandard at best. Took 45 minutes to get my to-go order. Dont waste your time here.

Most meats had a faint taste of liquid smoke, but the portions were hearty and everything was delicious regardless. The wings are divine and the collard greens are great!

BBQ pulled pork is awesome!!! The smoky flavor is the pork was perfectly complemented by the baked beans and a great combination. Ill be back and not soon enough.

Stumbled on a gem. Made a wrong turn pulled in parking lot to make a uturn, decided to have lunch. Super Slaw delicious as well as the dragon honey wings.
