A few of us drove down to Bear Creek on our motorcycles to enjoy some bbq. My husband and I have eaten there a few years back when they were located on Point Lookout Road. We walked in and the place was clean and smelled wonderful. They have quite a few items on their menu. We got the pulled pork and the minced pork sandwiches. They give you plenty of meat, I had to eat the majority of it with a fork (mind you this does not bother me). I greatly enjoyed my meal, as did my husband and the other riders that were with us. The only drawback is no inside dining and they only take cash. There were 3 picnic tables out back, no umbrellas and they were accompanied by a trash can. We do plan on going there to eat, but we will wait when it is cooler outside.

Brisket and BBQ Chicken are outstanding, ribs sometimes tend to be slightly on the dry side but very good if you like them drenched in sauce like their pulled pork is. Check out the fresh soup specials (love the Butterbean) and lunch special of the day for a great value. Also the frito pie is a delicious "appetizer". All around enjoyable place for take out but would be great to have a sit down area, even if it were just some picnic tables out back or on the side. Cash only, they provide an ATM on site.

We tried their food truck at a local college outdoor event and thought it was great. Weve since come to this take out location 3 times and things were bland and dry. Very disappointing.
