Generally: The food is good. Beer choices are average - the usual popular lites and lagers. Ambiance is nice. Not too loud, not too dark, enough room at a table. Even when it was busy, I dont think anyone had more than a 20 minute wait. Sodas and lemonade comes in a small pitcher with a straw, which is nice - you dont have to wait for the busy waitress to remember you wanted a refill. Its not freezing cold or really warm inside. There are coathooks between the booths. Personal Experiences: Steak was cooked just right, though the seasoning was applied inconsistently. A couple places were extremely salty, or peppery, and the rest was fine. Burgers come with a bun cold out of the fridge unless you specify they warm it up. The seasoned fries are amazing. I thought they came standard, as the first two times I ordered something with fries on the side it was the seasoned ones. I was really looking forward to those on my last visit, and when I ordered the same thing as before, that came with the seasoned fries, it came with plain old regular fries. Which were just okay. The amount of bacon on a bacon burger seems to depend on who makes it. Sometimes, its one strip, sometimes, its enough to cover the patty. Its good bacon, Id like to have enough to enjoy it. One time we went it appeared that there was one waitress covering the whole place. The other waitress mostly talked to the bartender. (maybe she was off duty, I dont know) We were able to snag a busboy (maybe lol. A young man who was not a waiter, not old enough to tend bar, but was on the floor) when we couldnt get our waitress, and he was very helpful. Tip for the hostesses: When you have a patron with a disability, ask whether they prefer a booth or table. TLDR: The food is good, the beer choices are average, the atmosphere is nice, but the (young) staff performs a little inconsistently.

Great service, we ordered an onion ring loaf and it was much more food than any side of onion rings or onion straws anywhere else. The waiter was good with the kids, who got orios with their meal. I had a hoochi coochi burger, and I was impressed. I am really picky when it comes to medium well, and it was just right. My wife couldnt stop talking about her pulled chicken sandwich and potato salad. Ive written a few 1 start reviews for restaurants in the Annapolis area, Im thrilled that this wasnt one our them.

The worst ribs I have ever had. My mistake was getting them to go. After $23.00 and a six minute ride back to the station, it took only two minutes to realize that this was a huge mistake! They were awful, chewy, cold and dry. The meat was supposed to fall off the bone. It came off the bone after I knawled on it for a few minutes. I called RH&B and they are going to send me some coupons to re-visit their establishment! I only hope I can get a cold beer there with the coupon! Tom

This place has great food and a good selection of options. Its a BBQ joint first but they also have great burgers and some seafood, mostly fried fish. The atmosphere is cool. The lights are old drums. They have music, sports, and movie memorabilia on the walls. Sometimes they have live bands outside. They also have carry out if you are in a rush. I have been coming here for years and I always stop whenever I drive through Maryland.

I like the wet ribs here and the baked beans are great. The dry, rubbed ribs are a bit tough but I dont know if its RH&B or if dry ribs are usually tougher. I had never had dry ribs before and didnt like them. But the wet ribs were tender and did fall off the bone and were good tasting so I just stick with the wet ribs now. Service is usually very good.

Exactly what I wanted in a Blues and BBQ restaurant. Very good food, prices, drink, service and atmosphere. Ribs where okay but not my style. I recommend the brisket, chicken, catfish, potato salad and beer as thats what I tried. Ill visit again if/when passing through the area. Overall great experience.

If I could leave a 10 star review I would. Chris and the crew Prepared The food for a party of 100 for us. It arrived on time and smoking hot. I may have to retire my BBQ apron. Is was the first time I enjoyed a party I gave. Great food, Great service, Great prices. No muss, no fuss. Go Red Hot and Blue.

First off if you like fresh meat and cooked to order food dont go here. My in laws and I ate here and my wife left to go sit in the truck because her did was so bad she got mad. We mentioned that the food did not taste fresh and got no results. So we left with most of our did uneaten.

Nice comfortable laid back atmosphere. My burger came nearly raw with a soggy bun when ordered medium. Would have sent back but waitress never came back until we were ready for the check. Used to be one of my favorite places, but the past few visits have been lacking.

My husband and I had lunch there today. Great service and the best hush puppies and cole slaw! I can not wait until dinner because the portions were great so now I have left overs for dinner. I also brought home a piece of Smith Island cake for dessert.

I miss this place! It seems all the red hot and blues have a few different things on the menu, this was by far the best one Ive been to! The service was always pleasant and the food was amazing! unfortunately weve moved too far from this place :-(

My former place of employment used this location for some of our farewell luncheons as people departed for other employment. Smells great as soon as you walk in. Staff is great with larger parties and the food comes out relatively quick.

Horrible service long wait time, servers would rather stuff there own faces then help customers. Carry out smell like locker room and never is ready on time. Save your money or go somewhere else strongly recommend.

Anti U.S. signs posted by them on a major highway that also criticize another restaurant nearby. This restaurant is dying and doing everything they can to survive including trying to ruin other local businesses.

A roach was crawling on the wall, which I pointed out to the waitress. She called the manager and her excuse was the exterminator came and sprayed today. She gave me a coupon to come back. "When pigs fly!"

Love this place. Drinks are awesome and the food is to die for! Worth every penny and then some. I love the dry rub on everything. The pulled pork is always mouth watering and potato salad....shut up!

Your Unpatriotic sign was very negative and not only did you disrespect mission BBQ you also disrespected out troops. I will stand any day at noon to remeber our fallen and those who continue to fight.

The food was overpriced for what it was. We tried all of the meats they offered and found them to be dry. The ribs were dry and fairly tasteless. For less money Mission BBQ is a far better choice.
