Had dinner with the family at 5pm on Sunday, prime dinner hour. Waitress took our order then came back 15 minutes later to tell us they were out of ribs. We changed our order and started receiving the food, beginning with wings. I bit into a wing and immediately noticed the texture of the meat wasnt right. I looked at the wing and blood was running out. I alerted the waitress who notified the manager. The Manager came to the table, opens by saying "Im not trying to argue but we cook our winds to 165 degrees... and so on. Even after showing him the blood and soaking a napkin with blood, he insisted the wings were fully cooked. All of the food was either dry, warm temp, or under cooked. The manager came over with a $15 gift certificate at the end of the meal, provided it to me, then walked away abruptly - It was very awkward but was good entertainment for the kids. The food isnt true BBQ and they slather sauce on EVERYTHING. I will not eat there again.

Ive been here 3 times now. I love the BBQ wings and have had them every single time. They are not fried but smoked then finished on the grill. I recommend asking for extra grill time to add some crisp. Ive had them both ways and definitely prefer the extra grill time. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork all are very tasty with good smoke flavor and excellent house made sauces. My only issue is a lack of fried pickles on the menu. Good selection of local beers on tap, although I wish they went a little more robust with their bottle and can selection. The bartenders are great; friendly, helpful, engaging with excellent follow up and check in. This is a great spot that is a great escape from typical Harbor East restaurants. Its a baseball hat and flannel type of place with blues blaring on the stereo and wood everywhere.

I asked the bartender was there a reason why the football game wasnt on and she said it was busy didnt have to change the channel I know its only preseason but the Baltimore Ravens are a home team there and they should have had the game from beginning to end Im sure others would have agreed with me I waited by the hostess station to see if the bartender would change the channel for about another 10 minutes and nothing happened this was my first time coming in the Dinosaur Barbecue with my grandson to get something to eat and watch the game the food look good the smells smelled great but I didnt stay I left out a little upset and disappointed now will I be back in the future probably so but I just wanted to put my experiences with Dinosaur BBQ in this review

I had frequented Dinosaur in Syracuse and Rochester, NY when I was in those cities on business, and I always loved the BBQ. Today was no exception! I was beyond excited when they announced that they were opening a location in Baltimore. Its just as good as the New York locations. The food is a bit pricey, but given the quality, Im more than happy to pay it. The only downside is the beer selection. They have fallen into the IPA trap of so many other restaurants and bars. Putting in so many IPAs pushes the choices off non-IPA drinkers off the taps. As a result, I drank sweet tea instead (which was awesome!). Put on some good British-style brown and amber ales, and Ill be happy to change this rating to 5-stars.

Large barbecue restaurant situated in a historic, renovated building in the ever expanding Harbor East. Excellent barbecue, with special the emphasis on their smoked brisket. However they also offer different types of meat, including pulled pork, chicken, and even pork belly. Their sides are also great, though admittedly very heavy. In addition to food, Dinosaur also offers an extensive craft beer selection on draft, and rotating taps. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, and you can have a filling meal and a beer for under $20. While it is slowly evolving into a chain restaurant, Dinosaur Barbecue still provides a very good experience in Baltimore.

We were greeted right away and was seated without a wait. The issue came with ordering and getting our appetizers that took forever. Also just basic condiments took forever and getting refills, plates ect. It appeared they were under staff and our poor waiter was trying to do three jobs at once more less trying to do one right. So he forgot what he was suppose to bring while we ask another server after waiting for long periods at a time. Not his fault but for first time guess not very impressed. The food took sometime to get out why we wait but after getting the food it was very good. Hopefully if we visit them again our experience will be a better one.

Incredibly rude and inefficient service. Placed a pick up order on line and when arriving was told, by a condescending employee, that they dont use names to log orders but rather obscure pick up numbers (because random 10 digit numbers are *much* easier to remember). This took several minutes to ascertain because the counter crew were busy chatting amongst themselves and paying no attention to customers trying to pick up orders. I guess business is that good they can afford to alienate paying clients. The food was not ready on time. I will not be back.

My husband wanted Bar B Que for his birthday party. I ordered an entire party from their catering department. Oh my!!! They included everything with the order even serving tongs and spoons. All of the items were labeled and very hot so all I had to do when I returned home was serve. And the reviews from the party goers were great from the 9 year old with BarBQue on her face to the 70 year old who went back for third helpings. The staff was fantastic in setting up my order, checking it and labeling everything. Try them-you wont be disappointed!!

Its our second venture to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que after the Syracuse location. Great BBQ food and great service. We had Full Rack BBQ Pork Ribs with BBQ Fried Rice and Crispy Coleslaw on the sides and Deluxe Brisket Plate with Harlem Potato Salad and Fried Rice on the sides. The Ribs and Briskets were super yummy. The BBQ flavor was just awesome. Although the punch gets reduced once its cold. But the Fried rice was the winner. Absolutely delicious rice with BBQ meats in it. Its just too good! Dining in this place was a very nice experience.

- Went here before a concert @ Town Ballroom. Very close- in walking distance to each other. Did not notice much parking in the area of the restaurant. - We ordered a bunch of everything which included: Beef Brisket/ Coleslaw/Pulled Pork/Baked Beans, Mashed Potatoes and Chili. Literally everything we ate was amazing. It also came with corn bread which I did not like, but I may just not like corn bread as this was the first time ever having it. - Was reasonably priced, very nice décor, big restaurant, cool old fashioned bathrooms.

Im giving three stars for the food, and the extra star is for great service. The Korean-glazed fried chicken wings were okay; but there were no discernible Korean-inspired flavoring in them, so I dont know what made them Korean. (If youre looking for Korean fried chicken, Bonchon in Ellicott City is the place to go.) Anyway, our server was so helpful and informative that it balanced out the okay food. My friends enjoyed their food, so mine could just be a fluke. Id definitely recommend this place based on the great service alone.
