I really, really wanted to like this place because of the amazing and way above-average customer service. We called ahead for a table of 6 and were seated promptly upon arrival. Coffee arrived hot and fast, and the waitstaff was incredibly friendly. We all ordered our meals and they arrived about 10 minutes later. Some of the items were impressive (their French toast made with super thick French bread looked incredible!) My daughter ordered a Salted Caramel Waffle but it did not arrive with the rest of the order. She had gotten a side of sausage (thank goodness) because 10 minutes into the meal, she still hadnt gotten her waffle. We were told that the kitchen burnt it and were waiting on another one. She did get it when the rest of us had finished. The waitress told us she was going to take it off the bill and apologized for the mishap (again, super nice!) Other than the person who got the French toast, the rest of our group agreed that the food was simply sub-par. I love corned beef hash, but the one at New Moon left a lot to be desired. It looked boiled (most hash Ive had is grilled with a nice crispy crust on it) and was sitting in about a 1/2 inch of liquid that tasted like butter flavored oil. Not good at all. They gave us breakfast potatoes (about 6 small pieces) that were not seasoned and tasted as though theyd been made ahead and reheated. We were disappointed to see that the Salted Carmel on the waffles came from a Hersheys squeeze bottle...not homemade or authentic at all. The food lacked creativity, and was bland. Our issues with this restaurant came entirely from the kitchen. If the back end of things were as creative, lively, and friendly as the front end, this restaurant would have lots of potential!

Enjoyably cozy. Staff offer a prompt and courteous greeting upon arrival. They were very friendly, attentive, and cooperative - often helping each other to service and clean tables. The breakfast options were plentiful. Table service was quick, but did not feel rushed. A little seasoning on the potatoes could make them stellar, but that may be my own preference. I found the portion size of my meal (2 egg breakfast) to be just right. Some fresh fruit provided a nice finish to my meal.

I had such an excellent dinner last night that we came back this morning for breakfast and it was outstanding, pulled Pork hash was the best Ive ever had. Last night the four meals were all super good, ND steak was one of the best my friend said he has had in a long time, the Diver scallops were perfection. Dont miss the grilled ceaser salad. I dont give 5 stars unless it is one of the best, and it is in Saco ME. Very busy place so expect a wait.

Been wanting to try this restaraunt for a while. Went there this morning for breakfast. Its a cute little diner with reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. We went with friends and both boys got the New Moon Breakfast and couldnt finish it (which is rare because they have big appetites). The home fries are delicious and the staff is friendly.

Amazing food, done from scratch, in house. Comes out looking beautiful and tasting perfect. Their stuffed French toast is very light and balanced. Made with really good Italian bread. They make their own corned beef hash, fruit served as toppings is fresh.... be prepared to wait for a table, its a small place, but totally worth it.

Ive been here a few times for breakfast and it is my go to spot in the Saco area. Fresh ingredients which make a terrific meal. Ive had an omelette with feta and spinach, carrot cake pancakes, and eggs Benedict. All amazing. The staff are super friendly. And they have mimosas.

Food was fine, but nothing to write home about. Service was very slow in spite of there being a wait at the door. Saw at least one party leave due to the wait even though there was a table for them, just took the hostess too long to get to them.

I heard the food is good. Cozy seating. If you have a large party (more than 2), you are going to be asked to wait until every single one of your party is there. Wont seat you without, even in the winter. Good luck getting seated in the summer.

Service is excellent, the atmosphere is very friendly (patrons/owner/servers). The food is hands down the best breakfast Ive ever had at a restaurant. Portion sizes are "man sized" haha. Youll definitely fill up! Great experience every time!

You will not find a better place to grab breakfast for the price, quality, and atmosphere. Main dining area is cozy. Servers are excellent. Be sure to check out the daily specials. Highly recommend the Spanish omelette!

Ive only been here for breakfast but the food is amazing. One of my favorite places to go out to breakfast. Service is good. The cafe is small so just be warned you may be in close quarters with other patrons.

The biscuits and gravy melted in my mouth, the bloody mary was perfectly mixed, the bacon is a killer touch and last but not least Kenzies smile lit up the room. All in all would eat again.

Excellent food and great service! Weve tried it for both breakfast and dinner and were very pleased. Meals are prepared to order by the owner/chef. Would highly recommend.

Great service, great breakfast, and a delicious bloody Mary. I had the half-order of biscuits & gravy and a 1 egg breakfast, which were both awesome. Get the raisin toast!

Only reason I gave this restaurant a 3 star the food is good. Had to seat ourselves and only one server on duty. Also very small so expect a long wait if busy.

This is my favorite breakfast spot. The pancakes are amazing and they have brunch booze. The place is tiny so sometimes you have to wait but its worth it.
