First time to the Little House. Went to get a coffee, iced (cold brew) and a mocha. We also picked up the sesame noodles and curry chicken salad. The coffee was pretty good not the best I have had but better then most places on island. The noodles and the salad were good. We went back next day for breakfast. We had the breakfast pita/flat, not sure what it was and the breakfast BLT with an egg also a side of home fries. The pita was very good love the sauce on it. The BLT was large and also very good. The prices are a little expensive our first order coffees and sides came to about $25. Breakfast was around $23.

Fantastic fish tacos, especially pan seared version. The corn tortillas were excellent as was the sauce, and of course the fish tasted very fresh. Reasonable price. We also sampled the vanilla ice cream/expresso/chocolate/whipped cream dessert. That was pricey, but quite excellent, and cleverly served with a bowl like cup. I note that six previous reviews all give five stars, but Google Plus averaged that to a 4.7. How interesting. Apparently math is one thing they dont do well. I dont give five stars unless it is clearly very far above good. But I dont quibble at all with the other five star ratings.

While the food was good; it was probably the worst service ever......I had to leave without receivng my full order as our waitress sat with other 2 customers at their table chatting about personal issues for 10 to 15 minutes while I waited for a simple side of potatos.......Im sure they dont need our business nor will they get it again......this is the first bad review I have given to any of the eateries on Island that we ate at......and we have patronized many. Guess ya have to be an Islander to receive mediocre service from this server.......so disappointed!

Charming & classy, its obvious that The Little House caters to locals with reasonable prices and homegrown fare. The food is outstanding, with familiar dishes with a twist and some more exotic. Our service was good, even with it being obvious they were running several tables at once (ex-server here. The weeds can be a challenge.). We recommend the cookie ice cream sandwich dessert. Absolutely fantastic!

As a summer Vineyarder, I now count Little House Cafe as my new favorite Vineyard cafe. Everything is delicious and mostly really healthy. The decor is charming. The service is friendly and prompt. Theres parking. What more could you want?
