I am tired of these so so Chinese restaurants in New Orleans that serve slop and charge a ridiculous amount for it. I ordered Orange chicken with white meat. They chopped up the god awful toughest chicken from the lemon chicken and cooked it again. I could not bite through it. That means the regular dark chicken they use for orange chicken is bought frozen and already prepared or they would have prepared it the same way as the dark meat chicken other restaurants do. Every time I order a few things from here one of the expensive items is disgusting crap. Like the beef and broccoli that looked good and tasted like water. If we stop going they will stop ripping people off. Btw the orange chicken was a bottled sauce that I can make better at home. So far I think the egg rolls are the only thing I would get here so, Im done, no more to go from Red star. Sorry. I own a restaurant in New Orleans and if I tried to get away with the same crap Chinese takes outs do I would have been closed by now.

I have never had a more negative experience ordering food for delivery than I had with this establishment. Not only did it take over an hour for the food to get here, but when it did finally arrive there was an entire 3 orders of food missing from our total order. When I called to address the problem, the woman who I spoke with (who turned out to be the manager) completely disregarded everything that I had to say. She argued with me saying "the food is there because Im the one who packed the bag" when it was clearly not there. After 15 minutes of arguing with her rude attitude (I remained calm the entire time), she FINALLY recognized that she had made a mistake and said the food would be right there. We waited for another hour and a half before the rest of our food made it to us. The food was mediocre and the entire ordeal was unnecessary, unprofessional, and ridiculous. I do NOT recommend ever ordering from this place, I can guarantee it will be nothing but negative.

I always get delivery on late nights...and literally for the past year that I have been a customer...they have never disappointed. There food is great..and with their option of ordering online or calling...life is just so much sweeter. Their Crab ragoons are always fresh and because they have to drive quite a ways to deliver to me..its still nice and hot when it gets here.

Worst experience ever!!! Ordered over $100 worth of food. Took an hour to show up where food was missing & veggie rolls we ordered were clearly filled with shrimp. The reasoning for ordering veggie rolls was due to a shellfish allergy. Called to report the mess up and the woman just stood her ground saying that she was in the right... never order from here again....

I order from Red Star all the time. They always give you a ton of food and its pretty good. Ive only had one time where the chicken wasnt the greatest but every other time its been great. The best part is that they deliver all over New Orleans. This is the one reason why I continue to order from them.

I just ordered from here I got the orange chicken the oranges were so fresh ... I am close to st.chrales and my food so still hot and ready ... need I remind you that iam close to st.charles and no one I DO MEAN NO ONE would deliver to use do to the parades going on ... but they came to my rescue

Good Chinese for the price. I particularly love their general Tsos, Steamed dumplings, and crab rangoons. Every once in a while, I have gotten food that was not as good, and my fiancee was thoroughly disappointed by their mushu pork, but we still order form them on a regular basis

Ive ordered delivery from this place a few times. They have quick, good food. Thats exactly what I expect from a Chinese restaurant. Hefty portions, good taste. Dont expect it to change your life, but itll definitely satisfy your craving.

the people at this place are very rude. they dont have chicken noodle soup. and they also dont have brown rice. it looks clean when you walk in but if you look at the kitchen you can see that they are not as clean as they appear to be.

I really love the egg roll and carbrangon, it is the best in New Orleans. Also the curry shirp, I still can remember the flavor. So excited,they delivery, wondful chinese restaurant!

Its fine. Fast delivery, tons of food, nice people. Qualitys mostly "eh", but sometimes, if you catch the chef in the right mood, the Singapore Mei Fun comes out as a 5-star dish.
