Yum, these subs are amazing! They are so fast too. Ive gone in and the line was super long- thought I was going to be waiting forever, nope 5- 8 mins tops! Very friendly staff. I ordered the 5 & 1 and they neglected to ask me if I wanted hard or soft bread- to be honest I didnt think of it either. They handed me the sub and I asked "oh, it is hard bread?" She replied "No, but ill make you another one." I insisted it was ok, and it wasnt necessary to make another. Well, she insisted on making it to order- with a smile! Hats off to great food and great service! Kind of strange the 5 & 1 and a bag of chips total to $6.66 though ha ha ha.

Today was my first time visiting the store I wanted to see what all the fuss was about these sandwiches. My sandwich was good and the price was worth it for the amount of meat you get. My only thing was they really dont put any other veggies on it besides onion,lettuce,tomato.. They should offer more veggies.. Next the store was really dirty the meat is left out on the counter and not stored in a cooler.. Id rather go eat at Dearborn sausages deli where its more clean and the food isnt left out..

The food is very good here their soaps are like off the hook but only complaint I really have is the bar the food bar that they have people just stick their hands in it and eat whatever they want / disgusting pl people that they didnt even order food from there just came in the store got a handful of options from the food bar and just walked out without even ordering a sub

I absolutly love this place. They have the best deal on a perfect italian sub sandwich. Prices start at $5 for a 6 layer sub, $6 for an 8 layer, and $6.50 for a 12 layer. They also have party subs. The owners are very outgoing and always cheerful. They have always given back to the community with sponsorships for kids sports. Thank you Gonellas for being the best!

Hands down the BEST sub you will ever have. These subs put any other shop to shame. I have been coming to Gonellas since I was 2. Be warned you will get full off any sized sub you buy. They make them big and delicious. Get the hard roll ALWAYS. They tend to run out by 1pm and theres a reason why.

Everyone who works there is always in a good mood. Everyone stops there for food, almost every police agency in Wayne county will make a trip there. Best subs in Michigan hands down and would like to find a better sub than this in America, but I doubt that will happen. Great place!!!

I just went out of my way a little and got one of the subs. 6 layer, $5.50. I hadnt had one in about 8 months, and it was better than I remembered. Ill go out of my way again to get another one soon.

Every sub is good. What size do you get ? The 18 meats & 3 cheese is two meals, I have not met anyone yet that can finish one whole sub in one sitting. Tricky to get to, worth the drive.
