I order regularly, few times a week, wont be anymore, here I come China star. I was denied service due to not having cash, only calid accepted credit card, only enough to cover a simple rice pint when my tummy needed it the most. Not enough of an order to order with a credit card so they said too bad cant help. Im very disappointed. Really could have used it for my upset tummy but instead was denied ( a 2 to 3 time a week customer...) because of not being able to pay for a pint alone... sad. For future reference China Taste, its better to save a good customer than to deny them service over simple pint of rice.

Very much a "what you see is what you get" takeout Chinese restaurant. Ive ordered multiple items, each time exactly what I ordered albeit not to the level of spiciness I requested. The dinner specials consist of the entree with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll (which can be changed to vegetarian if requested). This place is perfect for when not choosing to cook dinner and looking for inexpensive, decent takeout.

The food was good. The wait time was not bad but better if you call in your order ahead of time. Would have had five stars if would have had a little more variety and options to mix and match in the menu. The price was middle of the pack.

Excellent steamed broccoli with garlic sauce, not to mention their hot and sour soup is hands down the best in town. Fastest service in town and they keep records of your orders via your telephone number for future ordering.

Excellent Chinese food with rapid and friendly service. This is one of only three Chinese restaurants which Ill patronize out of the many that exist in Baton Rouge. Its a very casual place, but clean and well kept.
